what size tire on the rear? is the car lowered?Quality is very nice for a cast wheel. Conical style lug nuts. I’m very satisfied with these and all my previous cars had M/T or Weld forged wheels.

Those will look great for 1/3 the price of welds. If I had a redo from the race stars I might look real hard at the Forgestar D5. More than the poverty stars, but less than welds. The picture above is not my car, but as of 20 minutes ago my car has BMR drag springs front and rear and looks identical. The 28x6x18's fronts and 305 rears will be on tomorrow. As far as how safe these wheels are, I'd just ask how fast have the race stars been? The construction is very similar. I'd have no issues going bottom 9's on these. This platform doesn't 60 ft too well. If it was going 1.1x 60 ft's, I'd have beadlocks on a forged wheel.
Ordered 28x11.5-17 ET Street R bias plys. Looking for some opinions on the budget 17x9 wheels I see around. Keeping the PP stockers up front for now. I may go to the 18x5 racestar up front at some point, but swapping 4 wheels at the track isn't something I'm too interested in (135 mile drive).
I'm torn between the all black bullitt, the machined lip black bullitt, the all black 03/04 cobra, or possibly the machined lip black FR500. Links below to see all. Pretty sure they all fit from a specs standpoint without grinding caliper (positive on the bullitts) and are about the same weight (22-23lbs).
If anyone has any variation of these on their car with the bias ET's, let's see them!

I haven’t had them mounted yet. Still winter here and I’m in the middle of the whipple install. Will update once test fitted, but should fit.I was thinking of getting the ET bias’s ply so I can drive to the track .
I already have Hoosiers(might be done but not sure )on 17x9.5 race stars but prefer to drive with to the track with a DOT tire.
I really like the 03 cobra wheels and they would be perfect with the ET bias ply .
Thats also great price too at 1/2 the cost of the cheapest race stars.
They would also match my race fronts and they seem to have the most aggressive offset (the 17x9 race stars look too tucked in )
Question is are they too aggressive to fit or will they rub ?
Looks good , but expect some sway with stock front wheels/tires with a bias ply rear .Finally got them mounted and balanced. First test drive in the books. Fit great, no rub. Car hauls ass, haha
