So, I'm curious... At my work, we have quite a large transition from the roadway into the parking lot. I definitely have to hit it slow on an angle coming and going. But I make it without scraping luckily. I've noticed the chassis is so stiff that one of the rear tires actually leaves the ground when I make the angle and go across the drive. I then feel the rear seems to jerk a little. I'm guessing from the torsen diff. Anyone else notice this? Anything detrimental about the one wheel leaving the ground on the drivetrain and such?

I literally got air in my Mach 1 and slammed the ground so hard I sheared parts of the undertray off... but the rest of the car was fine.

I think you will be fine.

It is stiff. The whole side comes up with just the floor jack at that one point.

Just curious, will the door open and close okay like that?

Yes, door should open just fine. The ridgity of the occupant compartment is designed to retain its shape in accidents. Lifting by one jack point is child's play for the forces it can withstand.

Not a mach 1 thing. Consistent on all s550 chassis with more flex on verts. Lifting a wheel on steep transitions dates back to 2014 on these chassis. Careful with the torsen diffs, can get stuck.

I have experienced this on numerous occasions as I have a car group of people that will usually meet up at a location on thursdays and the transition from the roadway to the parking lot is very steep so I go at a pretty good angle to avoid scraping, especially being as my car has the handling pack. Almost every time I go there I have this same thing happen as you described in your original post. I have not ever noticed any issues with the car though as far as drivability or anything else goofy happening after this occurs either.

I had RaceDeck in my other garage and this is so much better
It sure makes a world of difference when done right. My garage floor has a very cheap epoxy job supplied by the builder. If you look at it wrong it might start chipping. It definitely can’t handle having anything dropped on it. Our previous house had the garage floor done right like yours. My current garage has been through a lot because of incompetent tradesmen. It looks nice out there, but the floor is some ish.
