This may be more of a Coyote-related question than for the Mach 1, but what's a realistic number to shoot for on HP/TQ if I wanted to stay naturally aspirated on my Mach 1 and NOT touch the short block? I.e.: cams, intake, exhaust all OK as mods. Would I have any driveability issues? TIA

I’m at arguably 548hp depending on what you think the line losses are. With LTH and a Tune. Cams will get you another 30hp approx.

Losing weight is #1 priority. I’ve taken 192lbs out, and lost 25lbs myself hahaha. You can tell the difference.

Impressive numbers without Cams! Do you have a stock dyno chart to compare, it would be fun to see the delta!
What tune are you running and the LTH? Would you care to share more about your build and satisfaction with the tune? Curious about noise and everyday drivability.

Some days I don't want to touch a thing on my car, others I feel like it would be sweet to push more than 500HP crank.

You will likely get some varying HP/TQ numbers for expectations as there seems to be a lot of variance in what people see on the Dyno and even at the drag strip. Do you have a number/goal in mind?

How would you define drivability issues? More aggressive cams to make more power will likely cause some sacrifices in the driveability department, not so much on the intake/exhaust end as long as you have a good tuner.

Do you have a baseline Dyno or 1/4 mile ET/MPH run on your car?

I know I don't have a Mach 1 but for reference, I'm waiting for an e85 tune as we speak as my first power mod and I'm hoping for ~470-475 RWHP and will be shooting for bottom 11s, maybe high 10s as soon as my local track opens back up.

Baselines are in my sig with stock tune, stock airbox, and PP1 wheels for the Dyno.

Thats... really high reading dyno IMO.
Most full bolton GT's are in the 500WHP range, and I think the BEST ive seen from a Bullitt/Mach1 engine with tune/headers on 93oct was 500wheel, and best ive seen with just e85 was about 490 wheel. Headers and e85 shouldn't be really much over 520 even on a great day. I'd love to see what you did stock on that dyno for a comparison.

His dyno sheet shows 466rwhp/396rwtq so in spec for what you have seen.

What did you do to take 192 pounds off of the car?

There’s a thread and you may need to jump to another one inside that one. Since then (Optima Battery and rear bumper bar to get to 192lbs, plus me -20lbs so even more, hahaha) Next DA1 driveshaft. (Crap there’s photos somewhere too I posted, someday I need to put them all in one place. You can click on my name and search my reply’s and/or posts)

I don’t drive it on the street but at low rpm it’s calm.

Yes 466hp @rear wheels, is what at crank to compare to stock 480hp rating? 530hp, 540hp 548hp?? That’s why I said arguably. Anyway fun times.

Someone posted stock M1 dyno, not concerned with the past or exact gain, rather what is it today.

I know this wasn't your question, but I'd work on getting the chassis to put the power it makes now to the ground/road before I started looking for more.
This car gives up getting out of the hole for handling in corners. and I'm fine with that, but it hurts those looking to go fast from a dead stop.

AH the sheet wouldn't get bigger for me I was going off the number he mentioned.
