I had a blend date of 9/2. Got the email Saturday that it was built (build date says 9/9) and awaiting shipping. Estimates delivery between 9/18 and 9/24.

From all I've read, expected it to be built a few days after that.
Almost 2 weeks later, still nothing.......
Would think once it's on the assembly line, it'll keep moving until it's done.

My blend date was 9/1 and no updates. Someone posted an article from Ford Authority regarding a shortage of parts for Coyote V8's, assuming that has something to do with the delay?

Maybe they ran out of the stupid HC filter.
Leave it off, man, and let them roll!

Well guys and gals, it's finally here. I am super excited!!

Seeing as I work at the dealership, I get the chore/pleasure of installing the front splitter, front fender lip guards, and removing all the plastic from the inside for the PDI. Oh, and the road test of course.

If all goes well, I should own my dream car on Monday, after repairing broken Fords for almost 12 years to be able to finally own one. I'm kind of in shock to be honest. This is crazy.

Yes, for that reason I’m guessing: if some parts are not available on blend-date, then probably nothing happens until ALL parts become available — all or nothing. The line can’t be held up by builds “waiting for parts” And they would not store partially built vehicles, and then reinsert them into production line. So effectively blend-date keeps slipping until all parts are available.

yeah i dont think anyone here in the last 6 months received their M1 (to the dealer) in the time frame Ford provides. i am 11 days past the window right now.

They can get pulled off the line and then go to offline assembly which can delay it

That’s good, at least it’s built! Hopefully the looming rail strike doesn’t mess with your delivery.

Yeah, and that would suck, but at the same time I don't mind it as much since I'll have more paychecks to put towards the car.. All those options weren't cheap.
