2022 Official Mach 1 Order Tracking Thread

They will not get penalized for you cancelling your order. I did the same as you last month. When I called my dealer, he understood, returned my full deposit, and said he was happy for me. They will now sell your car with ADM added, or at best sticker. Did you place a deposit, and did you receive it back?

I did place a $1000 deposit but he claimed he could not give it back since the order is "scheduled." I call BS on that. He should be happy, since now they can charge over sticker for that car. Plus, he told me that the car would absolutely have to be reordered as a '23 and there was no chance of it getting pulled for '22. So obviously I looked elsewhere. I would really like to get my deposit back so we are trying to get upper management involved.

I read that they are cracking down on dealers making ghost orders and selling them with ADMs. For d was threatening to take away allocations on future special models. Maybe he's already been caught before and yours will put him past the threshold of penalty? Ford really wants the people that placed RETAIL Orders to actually make the purchase.

I'm glad Ford is doing this. Some of the markups are outrageous. And it's just common sense, hurts reputation and customer satisfaction. Oh, and I doubt Ford is getting a cut from the ADMs, that's probably the real reason.

Going to have to drop my rating to 7.5/10 waiting for PDI is fine but not when it's not done right lol. Was riding stiff and felt very unstable at high speeds. Found shipping blocks left by Chapman who I know sold a lot of M1s. Now I'm questioning everything else I trusted lol. Vehicle may also already need an alignment, haven't determined yet if it's due to the blocks.

If you have a handling pack car I would 100% get it checked. I wanted to ride out my Cup 2 tires and didn't even make 5000 miles. Had the cords breaking and poking out of my front passenger tire at 4700 miles and the driver side was just starting. Camber on both side in front was at -1.6 street setting in the mach 1 supplement was -1.2 and i had a guy at work recommend going to -1 just to get a little less camber on the fronts.

I guess I was a lucky one. My car is extremely stable with my PS4S and didn't do any alignments afterwards. Car stays very straight in lanes and there are times I could just let go of the wheel and it would stay straight. No weird braking quirks or anything either.

I do plan on getting an alignment later to get a little more front camber for the streets even but keep zero toe for tire wear. I'll probably just max out the stock camber plates. I'll get the rear checked as well.

My wife and I are literally doing a one day trip. We're sitting in the Des Moines Airport as I type. Woke up at 4 am, arrived in Iowa at 9:30 am after changing planes on St Louis. Ubered to Granger, signed paperwork and took her for a short spin. Ubered back and now waiting for our flight back. Won't be home until after 11pm since we have stops in st Louis and then Chicago.

Totally worth it.

However... the one I just handed a fat check to granger for is NOT the one I originally ordered - I originally ordered the build from Chapman.

I'll post a more detailed experience once taking physical possession of it, its a pretty crazy story. I just set up the transit and looking at a pickup either tomorrow or Monday and about 2-3 days to get to me once picked up.

This dealer required $1000, we've ordered from them before and that is standard for them. It is Fairway Ford in Greenville, SC. It is one of two largest dealers in the state so I figured they would get some Machs allocated. But the sales manager that we have to deal with there has been against us since I ordered back in April.

I hate that for you Scott. I would still call Ford and complain, unless it states in your paperwork you signed during the order process, that deposits are non-refundable. Good luck with it.

Thank you. And yes, the same sales guy claimed that it was on the paperwork that it was non-refundable. No where on my paperwork does it state non-refundable. So I will be going back in soon. Just hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. I would be more upset, then I remember that I have a Mach 1 in my driveway.
