2022 Official Mach 1 Order Tracking Thread

So, I got my email last Thursday saying my Mach 1 is schedule for build the week of Sept. 5th. I just got another email yesterday saying it has been bumped up to the week of August 29th. I hope this holds true. Anyone else have their build week moved up?

Look at the log on my signature. Mine got scheduled, moved back and pulled forward a couple times. I think the 4th of July Vacation Shutdown made it more complicated than normal. If there is such a thing as normal these days. They don't seem to be having supply issues right now, and it looks like production rates are climbing a little.

Cross your fingers and hope things keep going well, they're production dates seem to be right on, right now. Once you get a BLEND date, figure it will be BUILT by the day after that. Status changes seem to happen after plant operations close for the day. I found they came through around 5:30PM Pacific time.

Planning on an extra night each in Denver and South Lake Tahoe to make it more vacation than a chore.

First, congrats!!! Glad the wait is almost over for you! But also South Tahoe is one of my favorite places in the world. You have GOT to drive the Mach along the west coast, around Emerald Bay, and get some pics. Beautiful stretch of road.

So, my '22 order got scheduled for September 12th. I lucked out and found a '21 that I picked up and I absolutely love it. My question is this, I went to my dealer to let them know I will not be taking delivery of my '22 Mach 1 that just got a build date. The sales manager basically cussed me out claiming that he will get penalized if I do not take the car. I did some research and nothing seems to point to that. I have also seen plenty of people who have done the exact same thing as I have with no issue.

Indeed, August 2021 order canceled and 2022 ordered in December.

My question is this, I went to my dealer to let them know I will not be taking delivery of my '22 Mach 1 that just got a build date. The sales manager basically cussed me out claiming that he will get penalized if I do not take the car. I did some research and nothing seems to point to that. I have also seen plenty of people who have done the exact same thing as I have with no issue.

They will not get penalized for you cancelling your order. I did the same as you last month. When I called my dealer, he understood, returned my full deposit, and said he was happy for me. They will now sell your car with ADM added, or at best sticker. Did you place a deposit, and did you receive it back?

I read that they are cracking down on dealers making ghost orders and selling them with ADMs. For d was threatening to take away allocations on future special models. Maybe he's already been caught before and yours will put him past the threshold of penalty? Ford really wants the people that placed RETAIL Orders to actually make the purchase.

My dealer told me the same thing. They had to submit a copy of my license with my order to show Ford that I am me and I placed the order. A one off not taking delivery probably doesn’t hurt the dealership, but if they have several orders that don’t take delivery they will lose future allocations. I talked to several dealerships before I placed my order and was told the same thing by all of them.

You will get some in the mountains of Colorado!! I would try to meet up with you but it looks like I’ll be in SW Colorado for a few days when you’re coming through — we will see. Hopefully I’ll have my car by then and we could get a nice shot of your Mach1 meeting my EB Convertible. We shall see!

Alright. Sitting in the Des Moines, IA Airport waiting for my flight and arranging a transport from Granger to Maryland.

I've never had to transport a vehicle before. Is it customary to tip the driver once delivered?

.Looked into a one day visitation trip to check her out and do paperwork, but there are no flights available to get there and back without staying over night, Good thing because I would have booked it last night, and be out probably a grand, just to give into my impatience.

My wife and I are literally doing a one day trip. We're sitting in the Des Moines Airport as I type. Woke up at 4 am, arrived in Iowa at 9:30 am after changing planes on St Louis. Ubered to Granger, signed paperwork and took her for a short spin. Ubered back and now waiting for our flight back. Won't be home until after 11pm since we have stops in st Louis and then Chicago.

Totally worth it.
