when ordering, i was so split between this purple and Cyber Orange, but i'm glad i went with the purple, i've seen it be purple, blue, yellow, red, pink, and even greenish in the right light

i'm wishing all the best for those still waiting on orders!
Totally badass. The purple really is a chameleon!

ford is moving to direct order for the E cars, set pricing with no ADMs.. could potentially do something with the standard non-electric vehicles

also, seems like there will be 2023 last run of s550s… maybe to include Mach 1s? time will tell
If you watched and he is correct. Ford is no longer accepting new Mach1 700A or HP options, in addition, no PP options on the GT are available. :crying:

Yeah, that would make sense if they are trying to fulfill the existing orders.

Was also a bit confused by the following sentence about being closed until the order banks open again in September.. as if could be 2023 Mach 1 - or maybe just the PP for the GTs.. guess that’s the big unknown question. What models are gonna be in 2023?

Yeah, much better to be able to say “sorry, we’re not taking new orders for that” than make someone wait months and never get a car. Fingers crossed for all of us waiting to get scheduled.

Maybe just the ALL BLACK treatment they had the contest naming?

could be.. personally hope they don’t do the Mach 1 in 2023 just to make the few in existence even more limited

hopefully 2023 will just be GTs and EBs and GT500s.. kind of feel like they might do Mach 1s tho just because it is the final “final” year of the S550

Grabbed this from the GT500 order thread.
Looks like September build slots are getting scheduled next week.
Might be the last chance for HP orders this year?

2022 S550s scheduled to also be built in October and first half of November, then 2023 S550s. Hopefully no down times!

After reviewing my situation further, I may not be purchasing my 22 Mach 1 after all. Even with my locked price from last year, it won't really be worth the effort. $1200 to ship it, TTL to register it. If I turn around and sell it, I'd pay a 15% capital gains tax and that's if I even have a buyer lined up which I don't. Car values are also beginning to drop on used and new cars too. After all of that, I may end up with 3-4k out of it all. Otherwise, I'd be paying on a car I have no intentions of driving or even putting a down payment on.

Here is the window sticker if anyone is interested in a loaded FJG Mach 1 HP, Tremec, Nav, Heated/Cooled seats. Granger will probably sell it at sticker.

Unless I'm oblivious to something here, it's not worth the extra stress to try and flip it.

dang sorry for your luck.. agree not really worth it to buy if you’re not going to keep it. the taxes to title it would pretty much wipe out any profit like you were saying. then it’s just a hassle and risk to maybe, hopefully be able to sell it

someone will get a great deal on it since it’s going thru granger

You made the same decision I did-I let both my ‘22 orders go…. Even a loaded HP I wouldn’t make enough money to be worth it. It’s one thing for a dealer to sell with markup, but me marking up a legally “used car” without the track attack is another. The taxes eat all of that up to where I’d be looking at maybe $2k if I’m lucky.

I think you are making the right choice. Maybe someone else will scoop it up and get a great car.

Saw this on another site, thought it might be of interest to someone
Its at Tomball Ford they have a Mach 1 with a 6 speed manual, handling package, Recaro seats and the elite package. It is sweet. I was told someone ordered it and backed out of the deal. Call Grace Syzdek .
