I thought everyone was on vacation. Weird that this latest change comes after a major holiday and during their two week stand down. But at least it's a move in the left direction. Fingers crossed.

I don’t know, I’m not the one waiting for a VIN, week for being built or late order.

Mine is getting built the 25th of July week.

I go with what they told me the day I wanted to order one. He showed me the computer and it said it was closed. Maybe they reopened, but I don’t know if Ford really will build all the ones that have no VIN before November. Maybe they’ll do 2023…I hope they do.

Oddly enough, I just received an email tonight moving my scheduled production date up to the week of 8/8 from the previous week of 8/17.

Since when does Ford move the schedule EARLIER and not later?? Lol. I'm certainly not complaining though. I just hope they actually go through with it.

Since when does Ford move the schedule EARLIER and not later??

FP and 'ford' appear to be on different definitions of 'weeks'. One appears to use Monday as the date, while the other one seems to use Friday as the 'by' date. So this oscillation by 1 week is very common.

The common wisdom from the last year was that if you got the build date by the week Monday, it was simply Ford telling you that you shouldn't get the car sooner. Only after you got a particular day of the week, it was a sign of getting scheduled.

Got the email that my car has shipped this morning. Delivery estimate is the same as before (July 24-30), but maybe it will be quicker than that, like some others have been seeing in this thread lately.
