Someone on here who has access to OASIS can run the VIN and if there is any Warranty in place (factory OR ESP), it will be noted in the system.

Also why would an ESP Warranty be logged/entered/added as any type of "A/C" related expense??

Supposedly some kind of sales code issue with the dealership management system. I'm not sure. But after doing some Googling I see others reporting the same problem on the Bronco and F150 forums. It supposedly has no impact on anything. Still odd though.

ESPs are really just insurance plans and the odds are squarely in their favor that they will pay out less than they will take in. Basically, you are betting that something major will go wrong and they are betting that it won't. Since I know they have done the math, I will play those same odds and decide to "self insure".

The one exception was when I bought my 2018 Volvo V90. I got a bit nervous because of all the electronics so I opted for an ESP at time of new purchase (which is the most cost effective time to buy in). I still doubt that it will pay out for me though.

So I'm not sure if anyone else bought their ESP from Granger Ford. However, when I checked on my Ford account recently I saw no sign of an ESP on my car. Instead I saw a service record for "air conditioning" from Granger on the day I bought my ESP. I contacted Granger and they assured me that my ESP was in fact active but that there is an issue with how they log the transaction with Ford, which results in it being logged as an AC repair. Anyone else encounter this?

I have an ESP, but my factory warranty is what is still active when I check my ford account. I suspect the ESP isn't shown until after the factory warranty expires

Yeah mine is expired but no ESP shown. Did you buy from Granger?

No, I bought mine from Joel Hawley at Two Rivers Ford

Your ESP will show up in your Ford account, but the name the account is registered under, must match exact the name registered on your ESP. If they do not match, it will not show up.
But since the ESP is registered to the Vin #, if you call your local Ford service center, and ask them to look up your Vin#, they can verify whether the car has an ESP associated with it.

In my case the name matches. The problem is that the ESP is not listed, and instead I have an "air conditioning service" from Granger Ford in my account on the date that I purchased the ESP.
