My old neighbor had vicious German Sheperds that barked all day in a chain linked rear yard. When we had small children they could never nap. My wife asked them to keep their Sheperds inside for a couple hours in the afternoon so my kids could nap. They basically followed that for a week. So I bought a dog and the first day he went into the yard the Sheperds wanted to kill him. He didn’t care, and just pranced around. Then one of the Sheperds couldn’t take it and lunged at the chain link and broke off several teeth. That was the end of my problem. I just put my dog out when I wanted the incessant barking to stop and they took theirs in immediately.

It’s sad though. You shouldn’t of had to do that. The dog shouldn’t of broken teeth. The owners didn’t train it properly. People shouldn’t have dogs if all they want to do is keep it locked outside with zero attention.’
“Guard dogs”
Get forked. I’ve heard people justify this, they are still pets/animals and should still be cared for

Some people won’t be reasoned with and you need to be creative.

Your two new problems may be resolved through by-law enforcement. Here in Toronto, there are by-laws regarding light pollution from one property to another, and this sounds like it fits the bill, and there are typically by-laws that cover barking dogs (again, as here in Toronto, and falls under "persistent noise"). Check your municipal website in respect of both and if you feel it's covered, call and let the municipality deal with him.

Seems the codes where he lives are pretty laughable. That neighbors fence would never had gone up to begin with if the zoning code was not pre-civil war.

The guy is now cutting 2 feet into my yard
He doesn’t make any sense. Shits annoying literally scalped it to the root. He has 2 giant flood lights on his porch and on corner of his yard and I swear to god they are facing at my house
I had to buy blackout curtains, the neighbors beside me, 2 from him.

Said the lights are driving them crazy they are shooting straight into their childrens room and it’s like daylight at night

I said it’s in you guys to complain, the dude is a dick and him and me do not speak.

I don’t want to keep ranting but this effer needs to move back into the country with his attitude, screw the neighbors, don’t care about property and letting his dogs bark all day.

But I’m done w it. I just mind myself but if he keeps insisting on scalping 2 feet of my property I will address him. I will spray paint a line down his yard if need be if he’s too dumb to realize where our fences meet
Hell I’m petty. I will lay a in ground brick line for his dumbass
Time to sell...

You should have left well enough alone. This all started because he put a fence up properly on his property.

Your fence was positioned in a way that upset you but somehow blame your neighbor.

You sold your fence that provided privacy, now using their fence for yours.

I think there is alot more to this story, but it doesn't really matter because its just drama. Which you seem to enjoy.

If you want results, build a wood fence like the one you sold and removed.

Last rant the guy has bought like 3 more vehicles, he’s now parking them in his grass now in front of house and taking all the curb space and even parked his truck and 20 foot trailer in front of my house where my 2 room mates parked. He has two trucks. 20 foot trailer. Minivan, 2 cars. And now like 2 track cars because they look like demolition derby cars.

My neighbor even said now they are blocking his truck from being able to back out successfully as he has a large truck. And the guy is parking his large truck right behind his driveway

the second he moved it, I started parking my car on the curb in front of house butted up to our property edge. No more letting him park there is rather have an empty driveway than let him park taking up my entire room mate park spaces

and they have like 5 bright ass spotlights in backyard one in the corner of yard facing my house as well, you can see it in the photo. I had to buy black out damn curtains for my bedroom, and bathroom or myroom looks like daylight

The part about the lights made me think of the movie Lakeview Terrace. There was a scene in there with spotlights aiming directly into the neighbor’s house. See trailer here.

Is that a good movie? Looks interesting I like the actors.
But yeah, it’s stupid. I don’t get the light thing much.

it’s the corner light in yard in photo the little star I have the issue with it’s literally pointing into my window.

Yes, it’s a very good movie! Samuel Jackson is one of my favorite actors. Check it out if you can find it On Demand or something, I’m sure you’ll like it.

so that neighbor on the right, he moved in awhile back. he talked to me, when I met him and asked "do you have a light in your yard"? I said yes. he said please can you turn it off, ,I said oh no, I meant yes I have light in my yard, its our other neighbor. he said its literally pointing straight into his childrens rooms at night as well as ours. its crazy bright in person.

I said yeah, well you gotta talk to him. I dont speak to the guy and I won't. lol

been here 6 years, I miss my old neighbor.

Maybe he’s running a meth lab out of the house and is paranoid about intruders. Your other neighbor’s kids are probably freaking at the site of the boogeyman tree when they look out their windows.

You'll never win on your own. Time to bring the power of the law/by-laws into play. When we moved into our house the next door was rented. Driveway was full of cars and the guy had a tow truck, which he parked on the street constantly . I just started calling parking control and they happily came out and tagged the tow truck every night, at $30 a pop. Ran into the guy a month or so later and he told me he was moving because he was tired of getting the tickets. House went up for sale shortly after and we had a great family move in. Educate yourself about local codes (usually available online) and then start calling the municipality about the vehicles, about the lights, about anything that the guy does that may contravene a by-law, and quote the applicable by-law so they know you know the rules, and get them out to deal with it.
