I was terrified too. I also heard someone broke something off into the engine.

I grabbed it by the base and turned just like the cap. I heard a terrifying crack and it came off. Fortunately nothing broke

Haha it's ok. The crack is the sound of the O-ring unsticking.

That was probably me, a piece of plastic from the neck extension broke. Luckily got stuck on the oil residue on the inside edge of the filler hole so I was able to remove it. Still not sure why I had that issue when it doesn't seem like anyone else does. It's not like I did anything special or gorilla like. It just unthreads counterclockwise.

With that said, make sure you check your neck when you remove it and see if that little "lock" tab at the base didn't snap off.

OPG swap to MMR billet whilst the front end is off the car.. so much easier than struggling behind the radiator..

Hopefully you measured your MMR OPG gears before putting it back together. Mine had 10-13 !! thousandths gap. They would have self destructed in short order.

I'd recommend the Ford billet OPGs.

Installed Ford Performance Clear Tail Lights, also did a Steeda X Pipe but didn't snap pics. They look great with the Diode Dynamics Clear Rear Corners.
