This year has been much harder to predict on the 'how' things are allocated. For 2021 it was pretty straight forward. This year about 40% of our orders currently have VINs and weoFrums that Super Duty ordering has been closed for the MY.
Hey Zach, Is that just Mustangs, Mach1's or all Ford cars and trucks? I know F-Series have been as bad or worse than Mustangs, and I heard they closed orders of Super Duty trucks for MY 2022 already.

It's starting to smell like Chapman may be part of the problem. Either their orders are not submitted correctly, or they've been demoted in priority by Ford.
Maybe they just have Way More Retail Orders than anyone else, but the prioritizing is at least partly on them I would think. I would bypass the sales person and contact the Dealer Sales Manager and ask them to contact the Regional Manager.

Maybe. They have a ton of orders to get through. They may be prioritizing orders based on things like if you're local, how many options you ordered, etc. It certainly feels like something is going on with them and they certainly haven't been communicating well.

FWIW Chapman, priority 10, non-HP, Dec 8 order and I haven't heard anything.
Ok yeah so that’s like what I mean, I put an order in with Chapman before that and at the time, it was 19. So at this point is it possible it’s closer to 10? I guess I can try contacting again to see what they say.

Like the others mentioned, because of their advertised deal I’m sure a lot of people ordered through them, so they just have way more orders than most dealers. Also if you got the Ford confirmation email, it was likely submitted fine. Also, I checked with Ford Performance and they have the order, just still unscheduled, but that’s another way to check from an outside source. It may not even be a priority issue completely, but say a dealer somewhere has 2 orders but Chapman has 50-60 or something (theoretically), it wouldn’t make complete sense to make the smaller dealer wait until every single order from Chapman is fulfilled first, even if some of those orders were put in first. They may choose to build 1 or even both for the smaller dealer and 10 for Chapman to spread out the orders.

10-19 are internal codes the dealer can change any time. At the start of each scheduling week the dealer gets a report and can change their priority codes then to ensure what they want gets built. Your dealer could insert cars in front of you in priority if they choose to. 19 is just the default customer order. You see a lot of cars change to a 2 right before scheduling, but that's ford doing it.

TBH they don't have a lot of control over a 1. That's up to the regional manager. Chapman hasn't been especially helpful in my experience. I suspect they may be playing favorites with their priority codes as well. Like when I got a updated DORA my code had gone from 10 to 18. When I asked about it they never showed me a submitted order with that code, just a draft. In any case they could change it at any time. They were also giving me the run around about where I was in line to be built.
I called yesterday and the lady I spoke with was not helpful at all in regards to my order. I’m going to call back today to try and discuss with the general manager.

Its possible, but as I understand it, there is nothing automatic about it and they fully control that part. They could also change you to a 10, send you a screenshot and change you back to a 19 and you'd never know.

I don’t think priority orders for retail orders matter that much. My car was always v100 through the whole process. Think the process is like a cvt transmission

So you ordered yours in June and you're still waiting for it?

My date moved out a week, to May 9. FP confirmed it. One week before production and Ford changes the date. At least I still have a date.

For perspective, I was just told I’m number 19 of their unscheduled at Granger with a confirmation date of Feb 23rd.

August Build maybe? That would be about average wait time for most of us Granger HP orders. First two weeks in July are Vacation shutdown at Flat Rock, unless they change it to make up for some of the previous down time. (Pretty unlikely, I would think.)
