I had the original WM shifter on my previous car. His new design (your photo) is much more robust plus any standard threaded knob fits it.

I'm tempted to send him a 20,000 mile reliability report, but I haven't even reached 11,000 in the 3 years with this car, haha!
Mine is actually the SR performance from American muscle. Someone gave me the link for the WM but I had already ordered the SR. Love the looks, feels great. The WM or SR just finish the interior off.

Decided to go with white for the calipers. I used the G2 kit. Used a good 2" brush being that the brush they supply is meant for watercoloring kindergarten pictures. Seems like a quality paint though. Inspired by a very well known member from Miami, Mr. @Salty. Thanks for posting those pics, pal. I also went with the Ford Performance decal because the red in the lettering matches the 5.0 dot. I'll post some better pics when its not raining and I can get the car out of the garage.

Question: How many miles should one expect to get out of these factory goodyears (normal driving)? Any input is appreciated.

Wow looks great man! I hope your happy with the turn out. I did have my calipers ceramic coated that way clean up is much easier. With ceramic coat and a wash once a week it should hold up fine. What really is the trick is to have wheels that you can clean your calipers lol

I wenrt to the Pee Dee Roundup National Mustang Show in Florence, SC. There were a lot of great looking cars and people from all over. I was going to get Jack Roush Jr. to sign another item on the car, but I had to leave before he arrived.

Wow, and I worried that my car was a garage queen in the first COVID year.

The original design had a unique ball that did not attach real securely to the shaft. The spring operation was not as smooth. He replaced mine with a second version. The current version is the good design.

In my experience as a product designer, the first version is proof of concept. Second version is major debug. Third version is ready for market.
I’ve been thinking of doing the WM shifter, looks like there are a couple versions on the website. One where you have to buy the ball separately, and one that comes with the ball but it’s permanent. Are you saying the one with the separate ball is better mechanically?

I no longer follow his website although I still get the email offers. So I'm not familiar with what makes the ball "permanent".

For mine, I bought a $11 plain gray plastic ball from CJ, drop shipped it to a forum member in Cali who painted it orange fury, and then shipped it to me for pin striping to match my dual exterior stripes.

No pics of my car, but I went to Cars and Coffee again. Good turn out. But, nothing too special or outstanding.

Nice, I really like that! Here are the 2 that are on the website.

There is a third option that I think is basically the same as the universal short shifter, just not as short. Not sure either, so that’s why I was wondering if the two were actually different apart from the knob setup.

Someone on here picked up a new "basic as they come" toy/project (not me). I went to check it out today.

I just realized after washing and waxing my car outside. When the sun hits my car, its Tuxedo Black. I noticed blue flake in the paint.
