I have no problems with them, been using them for years, great for glare. I had a Genesis w/Heads Up Display and that would disappear since it is reflected on the windshield.

OP should buy some with return policy so can try for self

Amazon Prime "Try before you buy" is a good option for this. You can try a few different pairs and return whatever you don't want to keep within 7 days. I bought my last pair this way and it was painless

Most sunglasses are polarized vertically, most LCD screens are as well to maintain compatibility but not always. My monitor looks very dark through my sunglasses (two different brands), my camera display doesn't work well with them either so I have to take non-polarized glasses with me when photographing. At least Ford got it right. ;)

You have to try different brands because they have different levels of polarization. Before I had my windshield tinted I had no issues with my Serengeti’s, Ray-ban’s, or Persol‘s. After I had the tint done the Ray-ban’s and Persol’s created too much purple hazing. So I only use my Serengeti drivers in the Mustang.

The only issue I have (being tall) is with the polarized lenses & gas pumps ... reading the credit card screen can be tough (maybe its the angle looking down) - no issues in the car whatsoever.

Same here. Also my phone sometimes.

Now does anyone know of any DARK polarized sunglasses? Every pair I've ever tried on are too light.

Oakley Black Iridium Polarized lens tint transmits about 10% of light if I remember correctly. Has been my go to for years.

They make digital displays look weird, sometimes to the point that they are illegible.
Which can be a real embarrassment when you go into the convenience store ranting because the gas pump isn’t working only to find that…well, you know.

I’m a big fan of Oakley. Not because of the name, but because their lens tech is top notch. Their Prizm Polarized aren’t super dark but they cut the glare enough that don’t need to be. Check out the Positive Red Iridium or Prizm Black which have a 11% light transmission.

When Mustangs ease into the 21st century and offer HUD, you'll have a problem with polarized lenses...:sunglasses:

I would avoid. Save them for snow and water sport.

Try Serengeti photochomatic and drivers glasses.

I have three pairs one low light high glare in glove box, one regular chromed in console and one on my face haha....I should get Serengeti photocromatic....used to use them all the time.

As it is I get $500-800 sunglasses on sale for $100-200 they have superior lenz durability and water just roles off the lens after washing with slight blow.

I like D Squared and St Laurent....Tom Ford and Dior are very high quality as well.

I find cheaper ones have poor lens durability.
Photochromic glasses are polarized. If you doubt this, go check with Serengeti on their website.

Photochromic glasses without polarization would be extremely bad for your eyes. As in it would injure your eyes.

Only cheap sunglasses aren't polarized.
