Why not use the glasses drawer on left of column? Or huge pockets in door? Or glove box? Or console storage?

Until I read this post, I did not know that that was a drawer! I assumed it was one of those blank panels that was designed for something that my car didn't come with. Like something on a premium model. :doh:
