Sunglasses compartment won't close

lol im serious, and most people dont even know about that compartment.

There's an even better "secret" compartment right below the drivers wheel/ below the headlight on/off switch.

Just push it in and it slides right out.. :cheers:

Lol fml. Just realized what I said is what everyone was talking about..

I just traded my car in from a Genesis Coupe so I clearly thought the mustang had a sunglasses holder by the review mirror.

This is the problem I have had a few times. Mine has always shut but I have had it happen several times now where it just won't open. Sometimes after driving sometimes after it's sat overnight. I wait about 20 minutes and then it opens. It's the weirdest thing. I go a few weeks between incidents. Anyone else with this problem?

Mine fixed itself just with time... I would finger that thing non-stop while I was driving it made me so mad... :-) Finally, it just started working again.

I'd do the same... keep pressing on it. Top, bottom, side, hard, soft, etc... you'll eventually get it to open.

Or maybe try a launch with some wheel hop... bang the hell out of the car it may make it let go... haha

Question semi on topic. When you press to have the sunglass compartment open. Is the compartment suppose to come out fully out on its own or does it pop out alittle and you have to manually pull the rest out?

Mine pops out just a little, then I have to pull it the rest of the way out.

I consider this problem a safety issue. Because if I need to get to my spare magazine quick and that thing won't open it could be bad. :eyebulge:
