Hi. Anyone who has upgraded their GT and GTPP1 rotors to a two piece floating rotor please tell me what you think. What brand etc.
Thank you for your help.

I've though about the Wildwood Kit and very tempted but I'd rather dump the money into interior.

They are all pure eye candy!
I know what your saying. I to am working on CF my interior but other than Trufiber no one makes Real CF replacement interior parts. What all have you done?
Thank you.

Waste of money
My pp is 100% a track car, I use some expensive race pads but for the rotors I’m using the cheapest blank, ( Centric, $50) that I can find and they last forever
The only advantage is a slight reduction in weight. A light meal will serve the same purpose for much less money

Running these Girodisc. Nearly 10 lbs per rotor weight saving. 2 piece rotors are very expensive though.

Nice looking, and a weight savings a plus.

I notices the disco attachment to center is far more elegant on Brembo and Bear VS Steeda's chunky nut gismo that Iam sure must have some purpose other than an alternative to some patent somewhere.

Steeda ones are great value. Personally, I'd get the centres anodized in red, gold, or other ....it's cheap to get done shouldn't be more than. $100 for all 4.
Does Steeda offer anodized centers?

Thay are black anodized but easy to change.
Does Steeda do it?
If not, do you know of a shop which does Anodizing? If I found a good Anodizing shop, I would probably do allot of other parts. I love the look of Anodizing. Thanks

The value of a 2 piece rotor can be found in weight savings, ease of replacing rotors from hats and keeping heat away from bearings. If your just a causal driver none of these things are of value and ultimately a pretty expensive mod just ā€œfor looksā€.

However it’s your money and spend how you see fit.

I went with the Steeda 2 piece option and run Hawk pads all around. Loud as shit and dusty AF but a massive upgrade over stock. Don’t forget to upgrade your fluid and do it often.

What he said. I don’t track mine. Hit the strip time to time. They save a bit of weight and look a hell of a lot better. Gettin rid of the stock pads helps a bit for all the dust. I did the Baer rotors cause I liked the looks and dropping a lil weight. Ceramic coated the hats to keep ā€˜em nice looking.

The Rotor is on the wrong way, you need to switch left/right, a different thread complained about no Steeda markings for installation.
