Yes I still want one. Still miss the one I owned. I still think my decision not to buy a couple winters ago when new GT350s were $5K under MSRP was the right decision for me.

But I also regret not buying one back then.
You have to do what’s right for you. I’m just thankful I’m not upside down in anything.

Cant live in the past though! I have a bitcoin story that would make you sick lol.

Still...at $150k, I don't think I'd own a GT350R... At $250k... IMO a 997 GT3, as gorgeous as it is, is not worth the money...like not even close.

I agree- as much as I love my car- the other week when I spent time with my buddy and his 19 NSX- the NSX definitely had a higher build quantity with nicer materials- better paint- to me his NSX feels like a mid 100K car- I dont think my car does

I plan on driving my car so I'm not really concerned about future value - My previous car was a 67 Shelby GT500 so I know what it feels like to own a museum piece and would prefer not to do that again ....

It is what it is - congrats to the seller. Yes, I have opinions, we all do - I'll keep those to myself as not to hurt any feelings but...if these prices keep going like this and ultimately all Rs start hitting these numbers (wrapper cars are a little different because it's mainly about the fact that it's new and you cant buy them any longer)...it's going to be hard to resist.

@Tomster Remember when I disagreed with you about a correction happening eventually? At that time, things had not become this nuts...now I'm leaning your way.

I just literally bought 2 2020 R models for the selling price of this HEP R. Feeling pretty good right now
You better dump them quick before the world rights itself.

$156k fellas… $156k.
Would the OTD price then be $161,000 and if so then congratulations to the new owner!!

No question that the 2020 GT350R's are setting a new price standard for the 2nd generation GT350's with the HEP R's obviously leading the way!! :like::like:

If anyone wants to pay anywhere near that stupid number, pm me and come and get both of mine.

Aside from Bill Ford who owns F0001 and HEP LR280 and HEP LR001 which is presently owned by one of our fellow members this is where the market is for an "In the wrapper and very low mileage" 2020 HEP R model and I don't see that price point for such an example taking a significant dive any time soon.

Of the 24,211 GT350/R's built which includes 3,647 R models there is no question that the 2020 R is the best engineered GT350 over the 6 year model run with the HEP being the icing on the cake for Ford and us GT350 enthusiasts which includes a very cool color/stripe combination.

As far as the new owner goes and how he spends his money, IMO that is his business.

Kudos to him for being the high bidder as there were numerous interested parties at that number and suggest that he is still smiling this morning after his recent purchase. :like: :like:
