I have the mirror tilted up as far as it will go, and my seat all the way down, but this is my view from the rearview mirror:

When I was in the 2015 GT at Ford performance racing school, the mirror tilted higher and I could see everything.
It’s not an issue with the spoiler because even if that wasn’t there I wouldn’t have visibility of cars behind me in the distance.

anyone else with this problem? I’m 6’1” so their has to be plenty of other people taller than me driving these.

Same issue here. Just got my 2021 GT and I can't get it to tilt up high enough. 6' 4" and seat all the way down. I'm probably going to switch to a rear view camera mirror like I had in my previous car.

I had to put considerable force on mine to get it to where it was useful. It tended to dip down even after I setit to my liking which felt like maximum deflection. After doing this a few times it stayed up and hasn't been a problem since.

I could foresee this being a problem for taller folks.

No, looked at mine, his is correct
Yeah, I see now it's a different mirror than mine. Looks like the Safe N Smart package. Odd that it isn't adjustable for tall people.

That's not available on the Mach 1 but there is at least one sensor on the back of the mirror and I think it is physically impossible to completely rotate it. There is a pivot point where the arm joins the mirror and a second one where the arm attaches to the base. I'm wondering if he only adjusted the mirror to arm and not the arm to base.

Maybe they should rename it the unsafe and retarded package. My mirror is different but I dont have that package.

Not sure but maybe you could dremel out whatever is limiting the travel.

I agree with this, also took some effort to tilt it upwards the first time. Don't do it while driving, take it with both hands, don't be afraid of braking it.

I've got a different mirror in the convertible, but I had to manhandle it to get it at a usable angle. There should be two pivot points, one at the windshield mount, and one at the mirror mount, and they can be very stiff, making it seem like you're going to break something. Only way to loosen it up is to make it move.

Yes, there are two gimbals. That should allow the necessary movement to position it.

What makes that mirror different compare to the regular ones? And aren't the mirrors adjustable from 2 different positions on the mounting arm? Adjust from where it connect to the windshield and also adjust where it connect to the back of the mirror itself
