clearly. :) So just how much time does your car sit without it's wheels on?
😆 Just long enough to convert street to track or back again.

I have two sets of front rotors and pads. I converted my car back to street last week so these track rotors were free to be painted.

Took off my stubby antenna and put the oem one back. I had no fm reception with the stubby

Edit - have to say their customer service is excellent. Within 5 minutes of emailing them I had a return label sent to me

I'm not sure how it is for a convertible, but have you guys ever noticed worsened FM reception with the LED lights on?
I literally a few mornings ago had horrible reception for a station that's normally clear for me. Lights were on. The sun rose enough to where lights turned off (in auto mode) and immediately reception improved drastically.

I then tested this at the next light - turned on lights manually = reception immediately worsened. Turned them off, reception crystal clear.

I'm guessing the LED lights cause interference, but have any of you noticed it this badly?
I can upload a video.

Still working on blacking out the car. The rear chrome GT is left, and I may do black mirror caps. Being this is a PP2, no amount of radiator movement is gonna let you get in from the top, and I did not want to take off the bumper, so I drilled it out from the front and then grabbed the clips with a magnet.

I haven't noticed tbh but I will see if I can confirm or deny next time I'm out

I’ve been stuck debating how I want to approach this. Double sided tape to fasten the new emblem on? Are you happy with the end result?

Yeah, this was the Ford licensed Gloss Black from Hellhorse so the whole back is covered with 3M tape. It should hold the world together and that is all that is holding the 5.0 badges on anyways.

I just used the new badge to determine where the studs were on the mounted badge, got a larger drill bit, and drilled out from the front. Looks good.

Went hiking yesterday. Near the trailhead is this art installation. Dinosaurs. I'm glad the hail damage is not immediately visible on Maggie. Most likely fixing it next month?

I LOVE Colorado but would be one of the only places I would have a beater DD.

Totally! There are so many fun times getting to drive my Mustang year round. But always problems with trying to protect it. I do love it here. I wish could afford a beater daily.

Hood vents? The ones that stick up more? Or just all black ones?

Most of us live where there are paved roads.....though you might still want that beater for the winter months....make it a 4 wheel drive one :)
