I don't know if there is a time limit but this issue is well documented via TSB and lawsuits. I'd make sure that "Ford" denied it and that the dealer isn't just saying that to get you to pay full price for the repair. And just got a denial of claim from Ford on my 32,000 mile 2013 Boss 302. So, it's about $3,500 out of pocket to fix this little screw up. thanks, Ford!

Because it is 5 year, unlimited miles for coverage, that's why he was denied.@falcongtho3
You can call the Ford 800# to voice your concerns.
The original TSB for ALUMINUM panel corrosion was TSB 17-0062. That TSB was since superseded by TSB 20-2026 issued in Feb 2019 as seen here:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/tsb-19-2026-aluminum-panel-corrosion.117031/
TSB 19-2026 was then superseded in July 2020 by TSB 20-2233 as seen here:

The disconnect with your 2013 BOSS denial may be that whomever reviewed your claim is going by the 2013 Mustang Owners Manual and the 5/60 Paint and Corrosion Warranty as outlined THEN and is not considering the TSB (or knows of it).
You BOSS, unfortunately exceeds the 5 year portion of the “5/60” Paint & Corrosion, but with TSB 20-2233 in place, it’s not clear to any of us why your claim would be denied.
IF TSB 20-2233 is a revised Paint and Corrosion Warranty for ALUMINUM panel corrosion specifically and applicable to Ford model years documented in it - does that override an expired “5/60” and affected owners should be made whole?
Me personally, I would think the answer is YES, because Ford is including model years back to year 2000. If the TSB was only for specific model years, despite now long expired 5/60 Paint & Corrosion warranties, those model years should have been excluded from the docs (especially if we’re talking going way back to the 2000 model year).
I would call the Ford 800#, tell whomever you’re speaking with that you have a copy of the most current TSB and it clearly covers your model year for ALUMINUM panel corrosion.
