Then there's the other possibility - they did have an allocation, it did get pulled for production. They just sold it to someone else for more money.
Interesting thought. True story, a few months ago my sales person emailed me asking if I knew anyone who wanted a GT350, at a ridiculous $12K over. I thought it odd, considering my $10K over on an R and the fact that, it seemed like ADM on the non-R had calmed down considerably. I figured this dealership were "good guys" and they wanted something but weren't gouging - at least that's how I felt when I placed my order. However when I saw that ADM on the non-R I thought maybe they were just trying to capitalize on the craze like many other dealers do. It does at least make it possible that they sold my allocation to someone else at a higher price despite having a deposit and order. I don't suppose I'll ever know, but Ford will - and my letter to Mark Fields continues to write itself.

You have an order number, right? UMH? The car hasn't been built yet. Once it is built then you could sue them to sell it to you. You have a contract and you placed a deposit.

My GT was getting it's first oil change today and saw this at one of the largest Ford dealerships in the country... I was considering getting a GT350 next year but if these dealerships are still playing these stupid games when it's time for my upgrade I might end up with a Grand Sport too. They also had 4 GT350's on the floor with 20-30k adm...
