Guess it depends on location. I sold the '11 Silverado I had bought for my son. Sold in 1 day, full asking price. It definitely wasn't $500. I helped a co worker sell a $40K collector car and a garage full of motorcycles - all on FB marketplace. I've sold a few other vehicles as well. None were even close to $500.IMO FB Marketplace is only for beater cars, most of the people on there are rude, poor, and want a perfect vehicle for $500. Lmao
3 year lien on your salary and SS benefits..."What other form of payment did you'd think I'd take?"
I think your dreaming thinking your gonna get 35k USD for a 2017 EcoBoost but that's just my opinion.I have mustang owners bashing me, saying my car isn't worth over 20k etc.. they fail to realize, stock mustang ecoboost 15/16's with 50k are like 28k. Someone even sent me a link, saying YOUR CAR ISNT WORTH 35K! then sent me a bare bone, base 15 ecoboost with 50-60k miles from a dealership for 27k
I am not sure what their point is. mine is a 2017 (keep in mind it was purchased in 19) the full ford warranty started in 19, and its immaculate etc. I know mods dont ad value to a car, but someone who wants to have a fully modded ecoboost suspension, this is for them.
I think the people destroying my ads are ones looking to flip the cars. not actually interested in owning them, had a few people. message me asking for mod list, and saying "I wanted to see what was done to car since everyones bashing it" and actually said, I think you can actually get it.
saying their market is like mine, 2010 chargers etc going for almost 20-25k when a year ago, was like 10k. same shit happening in my area. dealership would get 35k today if it was on their lot for it. and people messaging me saying 25k today, etc. dude I dont have to sell, its either 35k or no sale. they fail to realize im not in a requirement to sell it.
I just dont understand when buyers message me demanding I lower my price for them to buy? lol since when does a seller obligated to sell anything at their want, if I go to Best Buy and demand that the 2000 tv be sold for 1000, I would get told pound sand.
also, ive sold like 5 motorcycles and cars on fb marketplace, I didn't negotiate at all, but I gained all the traction on dedicated sell post, like "GSXR's for sale!" etc. where thousands are actually looking for that bike.
thats fair. but thats the price I want to part with it, if someone offers anything close I may consider. but to compare even any 15-17 models, base's with no mods, and 50-60k miles as equal to my car is on crack. which people are sending me links for trying to get me to change my price to something they can get it at.I think your dreaming thinking your gonna get 35k USD for a 2017 EcoBoost but that's just my opinion.
Wouldn't be worth that to me even if the warranty started today.
How many miles on your car?thats fair. but thats the price I want to part with it, if someone offers anything close I may consider. but to compare even any 15-17 models, base's with no mods, and 50-60k miles as equal to my car is on crack. which people are sending me links for trying to get me to change my price to something they can get it at.
(keep in mind those cars are selling 28-30k at my dealerships) I know im not a dealer, but damn, they are not equal. I got a 5k premium, its a lot of car for 5k extra on those cars.
if I was buying a car, id choose mine over those with 5k surcharge. what's funny is I know people will rather save 5k, buy the beat up hunker, and plop 10k on mods afterwards. Lol but buying/installing mods is fun in itself. I dont bash them, I did it.
33kHow many miles on your car?
D:
I think u should post these on your thread where you're selling the car.I dont know, id pick my car vs those 2019's honestly 33k vs 35k, just had to fix my listing, didn't realize had so many issues with the formatting. pain in butt on phone, using pc at the moment.
I just figure 35k isn't unfair if someone wants a car fully modded like mine, that intends to do it to their own car, and wants grabber blue. --- VS the current used car market pricing. if it wasn't for the inflation on used prices, yes its out of line, but this is a small premium on the other beaters offered for sale at moment. no reason to not try to get a cashout if its possible.
otherwise, this baby is staying in my garage. love it to death. just was looking @ financial side thinking I could pay a Massive chunk towards house and save $ in long run. but then id miss out on all my work I did to this car. its a real fun DD.
oh, and I still keep getting the ecoboost hate comments, saying base GT's are 35k, like serious? imo that is not comparable.
