Finally had a chance to make it outside once the sun is going down to grab some pictures. Everything I grab is always in harsh light.

Possibly doing a cruise with a large group later this morning. Most likely will break off as sometimes these cruises end up with 200+ cars.

My wife and I each had to go twice to get everything done

On her 2nd trip, I had to get sign and get an affidavit notarized so she could finish everything. I'm surprised it wasn't in triplicate, with a blood sample, and pledge of 1st born child.
The Utah DMV is amazing, fast, efficient, and I never have to go more than once to do anything. For yearly registration its all done online and stickers mailed to me lol

Brake fluid flush done. Much easier on this car than on the Focus, for whatever reason.

I went to the club sponsored car show yesterday. Saw this beautiful Super Snake.

Had my best trackday so far. Last trackday I for the first time managed
to keep up for a little bit with one or two cars, but today I managed
to pass two and reduce my personal best by two seconds. Track owner
(who required me to have a session with him last year when he found out
I'd never been to a car track before) came over at the end of the day and
complimented me too ("saw you caught a few cars today. Congratulations.")

Also got to be a passenger in a supercharged v6 Lotus Exige, pushing 460
HP and weighing about 1,000 kg. That thing really pushed me back in
the seat and made my Mustang GT feel really sloooow. With the driver
in addition being a lot better than me, made for a fun experience:

Much less fun was I didn't manage the fastest corner on the track during the start of my first session. Ended up skidding a cross a lot of gravel outside the track, though managed to get back on the track without braking to a stop. Was grimacing as I could hear the stones bounce of the paint for what felt like forever:

Starting to regret I did not get the car PPF-ed professionally when I got it. At the time I didn't expect I'd be tracking it, and the PPF job at 5% of the cost of the whole car felt damn expensive. Now I'm instead trying to do it myself a little bit at a time. Will be watching youtube videos on how to buff out scratches to see what I can do with the above.

Ran over a rock.. I heard a POP/NOISE then CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK. a rock, the size of a nick, it embedded into my tread, I wanted to try to pop it out but I am pretty sure its through the tire. 2nd time in like 2 months ive popped / damaged a wheel. leaving in car, going to discount tire tomorrow, to have them pop the rock out and fix it.

they won't tell me to leave it will they? I dont want a rock the size of a dime/nick stuck in my tread. I think thats unreasonable, even if its not leaking

hold on will go take a photo.

Rock - should I pull the sucker out? do you think they will repair it- I have the tire hazard warranty, I just dont know if they will say, if tire isn't flat, we arentpulling it out. idk policy on it.

Holy road rash. That area gets tuned without PPF. That's not gonna buff out.

It won’t come out, it’s falling apart. It’s wood. I think it’s through the tire.
