Parked it the other day and noticed I landed on five 7s.

Got Maggie's windshield replaced today. Three days ago, I came out to find a 8-9 inch crack from the top-middle of the windshield down below the mirror and in front of my eyeline. Only took an hour and half and $100. Not bad. Also, clicked over 25,000 daily driven miles since October 17, 2017.

Nice MPG. Mine's around 14.

At the rate I'm going I'll be at 25k in a year.

You've almost hit the amount of miles I have and I've had mine for a year now lol
I've been working from home for the last 13 months even lol.

I just like to drive the thing. I make excuses to go into the office. I go for a cruise after dinner every other day or so. I drive out of state on the weekends to buy a sandwich. It therapeutic to just drive.

Now that traffic is getting back to normal I'm going to stop taking it into the city office when I go. My Lex boat has been neglected and I want to start driving it more. The battery is dead dead and needs to be replaced. The suspension needs some love, and it started over heating when stationary the last few times I drove it.

I have a '99 MB E320 I got for a steal from an aunt last year. Bought it for my GF but she doesn't want it anymore. Looks like the crazy world of the used car market has hit old Benzs too and I could potentially get stupid money for a 22yo boring sedan. I want to take the potential Merc money and bring new life to my LS430. Coilovers, new wheels and tires, paint correction again, a supercharger(?)...

Thanks! Yeah! I get good MPG with my Ecoboost! This is mostly around town driving too. Nice! That sounds good. Hope they are good trouble free miles!

Finally got around to installing the rear pair of ZL-one stone guards. The instructions were wrong, they said to use a 1/8 to 5/32" drill bit. I used a 9/64, right in the middle, and I could twist the screws in with my fingers. I drilled a new set of holes in the guards with a 5/32 (screws slid right through) about 3/8" above the original holes and drilled the mounting blocks with a 7/64. If you're installing these, 1/8" should be the max size bit.

This is my exact experience with a lot of aftermarket parts. Whether they be well known brands or cheapie eBay products, their instructions leave a lot to be desired. How hard is it to get the spanner size correct for example.

Washed, then took a trip for a ride down in Burlington, CT. Did some exploring and took a few risks (riding by myself = no one to pick up the pieces if I fail)

Went to the first car show of the year. Saw some pretty amazing cars including this McLaren 720S. Then went for a cruise with some friends.

Finally got to drive it yesterday. Work looks like it's easing up and I'm prepping for a track day next week as well as installing some mods I've had in the garage since forever.

Stay tuned.
