First mods to your Mach 1

My dealer surprised me with some options about Handling Package in Europe - splitter and spoiler should be possible (mentioned wing in carbon even for 850 €), wider wheels and tyres too (mentioned PP2 wheels which I like more than bird's nest, I think). If dealer says it's possible then there should be no legal issues, yay. Wonder if they could give it HP calibration too. Just food for thought now, probably won't happen this year, wanna test the car as is first during summer.

I still have my PP2 splitter in the attic that I sourced from my dealer and it was in stock in the DC in Germany for some reason. Not sure why as the PP2 was not sold in Europe so it might be possible yes!

From the price of shipping it looks like they just let it ship directly from USA to them. Which I can arrange too, but if they do it and mount it and confirm that it's street legal, that's best for me. 305/315 would rock!

probably going to shove some weather-stripping or something in this ghastly gap. I sure wish Ford had gone back and made the 2 parts actually fit together.

850 € without VAT and transport cost for the GT500 wing in carbon from Anderson Composites (link), didn't ask for the cost of the splitter. He mentioned cost of rear diffusor 350 € from some reason, probably mixed it up, but the front splitter will probably cost similarly.
PP2 wheels 10.5x19 and 11x19 for 4x 650 € (TPMS sensors another 175 €), I like them more, same design as optional wheels (which would be for winter) and lot easier to clean and wax than HP bird nest wheels.
I didn't dig deeper since it's lot premature, first want to know the car as is and then contemplate about changes, probably not even this year.

• Wheels and tyres
• Steering wheel
• Add extended paddle shifters
• Install handling package style rear wing and gurney flap
• Add a front splitter extension similar to handling pack

I’m planning to also install the wing and front splitter as offered with the handling package to my “base” Mach 1.
Has anyone done this and if so what was the material cost of both or either. Also was any drilling needed for the wing? Thanks

No drilling is needed, the mounting holes of lip spoiler match the GT500 spoiler.

Well the sto-n-sho has a second screw that would require drilling for that. But, again the issue I am referring to at the moment is that the place would block air flow using the sto-n-sho as instructed. Wondering if you can attach it to the underside of the bumper instead of below the front spoiler.

It was posted in the forums (and in earlier topics since it's GT500 spoiler).
KR3Z-6344210-AA is the wing, KR3Z-6344210-AB is the gurney flap. You can buy it from Ford dealers but it's rather pricey (1000$ for the wing, 125$ for the gurney flap).
There's also version in carbon from Anderson Composites for almost the same price.

And there's good aftermarket replica but it doesn't have the gurney flap, but mounting holes match. More here.

All of a sudden the $3,500 for the handling package makes sense when you go the aftermarket direction. Appears that if you pay others for the install it’s probably similar in cost.

I’m ok for the spoiler now thanks to Charlemagne, but need input on the front splitter. American Muscle offers an interesting alternative look. Thinking about it if I can’t get the identical look.

I think with those wheels you need different rear fenders, springs and some suspension "tuning".
