After putting stock downpipe back on, and stock cai, I noticed my o2 sensor was black. Chef sent me his o2 sensor, it was 100x cleaner so makes me wonder if my plugs are foiled too

It’s 30* outside so rented a flat bay for 5 bucks for an hour

Time to swap plugs

How long should I let engine cool down before swapping?

Because I realize ford perf tune w the stock stuff was best for me, I had mod itch. Downpipe felt good but it trashed my o2 sensor I assume it prob fouled plugs too.

I should of just stayed at that point but nope

It was fun and I wanted to do it all.

My concern is randomly my afr goes everywhere.

Ie. Cruising 60mph cruise control flat land

Goes from steady 14afr to 12-15-12-16-12-15-12-16 for like 5-10 seconds

I cannot recall it happening before the downpipe

Once I removed downpipe I still had it, so chef sent me a used o2 sensor, mine vs his.

My logic is if the o2 sensor was this dirty maybe a new set of plugs would benefit. I just pulled plugs and they look fine I thinks but I am tossing new ones in anyway since already got them out

What’s with the white stuff on bottom or coil packs? Normal?


Edit just checked all 4 plugs gap, exact same gap as the 0.028 I gapped them too originally. So they held up to the increased boost from downpipe like a charm

I let an ex stay the night, she was militsry and hurricanes came through etc. so they told them to leave base

Oh I have 4000 miles on these plugs, they look pretty much fine. I swapped new set in anyway. Since I already bought a set and have them out.
