Just playing devils advocate on that one
That's why you take it to the track. Consistent gain is consistent gain.

Cai= 5 hp
I would not put a carbon fiber drive shaft on a street car. One little Knick u and its destroyed
How do you guys have issues with things hitting your driveshaft?? It’s physically above the exhaust and in a tight tunnel. I’ve been running mine on the streets for about 5k miles with zero issues...and I beat the shit outta the car. Hard launches at the track and street.

Chassis and engine dynos are all great tools, but the real proof is to spend 1/2 day at the 1/4 mile trying to improve your reaction times, mph, and those precious seconds to the finish line.
Bought my 19GT PP1/A10 off the show room floor. Added the FPP X pipe resonator delete as I already had the active exhaust I didn't go any further. I did install jacking rails and that's about it. I spent 1/2 day of test and tune, started out with 12.6's @ 110 and finished with 11.9's @ 117, and the car was exactly like I drove it off the dealers lot with the exception of the X pipe resonator delete and the jacking rails. It's a base GT PP1/A10 w/3:55 gears. I'm still on the fence about the M-9603-M8B FPP kit, but for $1000 to add 15hp+ dealer install of $300, it just seems expensive. My GT only has 8,800 miles and I'd like to keep the warranty although I'm convinced that Shawn from AED could get 500hp after spending time at the dragstrip.
Just my 2cents worth.

Yup tuning for e85 and long tubes will get you in that range.

Ya we have e54 here in Phoenix and even that is not super common. But there are a few spots that test 85-90. Not as convenient for dd but doable for track days.

Last February I had the M-9603-M8B installed. Here in California you have to be very careful with what modifications you make, but FPP paid for the EO so everything is cool. But... is it worth it? Back in October '19 when the car didn't even have a 1000 miles on it, I took the car to the track and the best time was [email protected] mph. After the install, due to the COVID, I didn't get back to the track until June. Now the car still didn't have much mileage (2500), thanks to the COVID again, but the best run was [email protected]. So, is 2 tenths of a second worth it? I will say this, the increased torque at 2000 rpm along with the A10 more aggressive shift program makes it worthwhile to me. I didn't like the factory program on the A10 and the low-end torque that shoves you back in the seat a little harder, is enough for me.

Is there some particular reason it has to be 500? 480 is almost there and that is very doable with Ford Performance parts and tuning.

480 at the crank possibly but I've never seen a 480whp dyno on just the FP kit.

I just wanted to see what else it took to get there from where I am with the few mods I got or anybody who had a stock mustang gt with 460 ho

There is the possibility for variance between every car. What makes 500 HP on one car may make 480 or 520 on another. Unless you put your car on a dyno or go to the drag strip, you'll just be guessing at what you might be making. You may already be at 500 crank HP (your goal) or you may be far from it where you will need more mods that are more likely to void aspects of your warranty (which you were looking to avoid). If you don't have access to a drag strip, see about finding a reputable performance shop to dyno your car and know where things stand. ~435-440 RWHP should be close to 500 crank.

The 2mph gain in trapspeed is the proof in the pudding. I have no doubt the kits worked on my car.

I thought I was doing good to get the 11.93 @ 117. What was your 60' time and what did you do get into the 11.6's?

What other mods you had beside the Ford power pack?

Mods are in my sig...car is lighter by about 75lbs due to the lighter wheels and exhaust. As far as power is concerned, just the Catback and Ford Racing Power Kit.
