I like too! It looks better than having nothing covering the runners. I also got the Bullitt covers for the fuel rails, although I got them used, I'm not sure they are worth $100.
Looks great along with the Bullitt fuel rail covers.
One of the young guys at the drag strip said the exact same thing. I drove to starting line and turned off the AC and turned an 11.93@117 just as stock as the day I drove it off the showroom floor. The guy came back and asked if it was hiding something...I took it off and he walked away mumbling...
I still visit the site every week, so I got your message, and you're welcome.
I'm still on the hunt for a GT350, but have changed to a 19/20 instead of an earlier one.
When I had my 14 TrkPak, I really liked the look of the TrkPak wheels and was seriously thinking of having them widened, but...
My old PP1 GT A10 was stock height and yes they were visibly larger in the fender well.
I had Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, and I changed to Pilot Sport A/S 3's. I bought another set of wheels so I didn't have to pull the tires off all the time. The front 255/40's were about 27" tall and the 265's...
The first thing I bought for my 19 GT PP1/A10 was jacking rails mainly because I had two sets of tires, one for winter and one for summer.
I used the Harbor Freight 2Ton aluminum Racing Jack and the cup is a little over 3.5" when it's fully down. I wouldn't do it any other way, and the jacking...
Although I sold my 19GT PP1/A10 a couple of months ago, it still smelled like leather. I attribute the smell to the complete Katzkin interior I had put in almost 2 years ago, and maybe because it only had 11k miles.
Some cars are more reliable than others, but every car I've ever had; and that goes for my race cars, have been meticulously maintained, and I've driven all of them hard. My 97 Cobra I had to replace the 5spd and clutch...under warranty, my 2014 TrkPak pinion seal under warranty twice...
The Ford dealer wanted $2400 to have the Katzkin interior put in, but I paid $700 plus $700 for the install and even got a 3 year, 36000 mile warranty from the installer and Katzkin.
I've spent 15 minutes reading through all the threads and I guess I don't get it!
I've had half a dozen Mustangs since 1970, yes I'm in my mid 70's and buying a Mustang is just for me, nobody else, it's not a daily driver, that's what my 2016 ATS-V is for. It is always garaged and looked as good...
Ok, guess I didn't see the split in the jack stand.
I just bought the low profile jacking rails which made it easy to use a regular floor jack or jack stands. I also had Race Ramps that were 2 stage and 72" long, a lot easier than trying to use jack stands...but that's just me.
I have a spare GT350 CAI less the ProCal tuner that I purchased some time ago. Since I sold my 19 GT I also have the M-9603-M8B kit from Ford which comes with a voucher for a VIN, although I haven't had any takers at $850, so I may just sell the kit to my buddy, then take the GT350 CAI that's...
Thanks, I was hopeful although it looks like it would be cheaper just to use the ProCal tune and install the 87mm TB and GT350 CAI.
The local FPP dealer only wants $200 to install it and supposedly the cars warranty is still intact if they do the installation.
Thanks again for your help.
The GT 350 CAI does have its stock MAF sensor attached to the housing. Would it be possible to use it since it’s already calibrated for GT 350 housing?
The MAF tubes for both the stock and GT 350 are less than .25"/.635cm and I would have thought the PCM could/would be able to adjust for this variance.
Since I have the ProCal tool and a voucher, we could just install the complete kit and the tune would take care of the correct transfer function...
