I added the RED car yesterday to my collection! I thought the 10+ months was long for my R order, well I ordered my C8 in early July 2019, for a total of almost 17 months on order! I got one of the very last 2020 C8's out of the factory in bowling green. They literally started the 2021 model run days after mine was produced.

EDIT: Wanted to add that Chevy knows how to do this- my car was produced and on a corvette only carrier the next day... and delivered to my dealer within days after that. My Shelby sat in the production lot for over a month before shipping

Installed sliplow on the splitter of my R. Still praying the temps stay north of freezing so I can keep my appointment on Monday to (1) install splitter and (2) install PS4S. Odometer is only at 65.7 and taunting me!

anyway, found the install very easy... we will see about the placement!

I feel your pain... I am in Appleton area, we've had multiple days of high 40's!.... I was racing to get the car ready for winter snow storage... I am planning on installing the sliplo, only problem is that my splitter is already installed.. I wish I could find a "rent a lift" so I could get the car up properly and do it myself. May just take it into a shop in the spring to have it done. PM me if you want to chat sometime..

Finally got mine set for the winter slumber.... we've had unusually warm weather here in Wisconsin with some days in the low 50's. I had a full detail and ceramic coating done a few months ago and the car sat in my storage unit due to life being too busy. I had to "reboot" the computer after getting it out of storage due to the battery running low. Even the power steering assist didn't kick in when turning the wheel in the storage unit before pulling it out.. freaked me out for a second. Now that it's on a battery tender I won't have that issue. FYI... if your adding fuel additive, etc use the provided funnel in the trunk of the Shelby.. don't use a regular long neck funnel.... was in a hurry and had back flow from the traditional funnel on the capless fuel tank ..... had to cleanup the back body panel. Had a guy at the gas station compliment me on the car, asked how many HP, when I told him 526 NA.. he was surprised.. "NA, really??"
Full tank, fuel additive, battery tender, steel wool in exhaust pipes, and irish spring soap in the engine bay and trunk to keep critters away. Can't wait till spring...

I saw a tip from a guy on YouTube (don’t blast me). I think it was AutoFantic. Run the battery tender wire through the fender vent, it works out really well.. better then crawling under the car or leaving the hood cracked because of the wire.

thats a great idea... thanks.. I have to get a longer interface cord between the battery tender and the quick disconnect cord, the cord is only a few feet... I guess I could run the power cord fro m the battery tender thru there as well if it fits...

I just ran a cord over to the battery tender. It’s no real amp draw.

Ctek makes a magnetic charger connector. If you forget and pull away it simply disconnects, no harm. Pretty neat. Rpi design had them as well I beleive.
