Hello,

Do engine covers for the 2015-2017 Coyote fit the 2018+ one?
If not, then can you please recommend something that does?

Thank you.

The 2018+ surfboard is hideous. I removed mine because I thought it looked very cheap and gimmicky.
Sadly, there is very little aftermarket you can do. Ford has a set of these:

They are really just fuel rail covers but they do dress up the engine.

You need to go custom and do something like @Elvis66 has done with his. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/3rd-gen-coyote-engine-cover.123296/post-2565624

Others have cut them down.

I thought about simply removing it, but then you'd see a plethora of pipes and hoses, which wouldn't be much sightlier than the OEM cover. Those Bullitt rail covers might hide some of them though.
I see some pretty neat ideas in this thread as well. But I'm not very handy with spray cans and masking tape. I'm afraid I'd make a mess of it.

Well at least with the pancake off the top it actually looks like a motor and not a wind up toy. Yes, hoses and pipes everywhere!

I removed mine. Looks way better than that stupid flat engine cover.

I gave mine some cuttin and some cerakote. Just in a bag now as I put a whipple on not long after.

I actually like the UFO better than having it off. But it does look cheap compared to the older cover, let's be honest. I think it was just a way to save a few pennies since the Gen 3 motors probably cost a fortune to build with their dual injection setup.

That looks really good. Better than nothing and better than the whole space ship.

Not a fan of the cover at all. I don't like the fact that to get it off, you have to remove the strut tower brace, which to get that off, you have to disconnect the battery. I ended up purchasing the Ford Performance Bullitt style Mustang GT Dress up kit (M-9680-M50BA) that StangTime posted a link to above. Most places including were I purchased mine from says it fits 2018 thru 2020. Unfortunately, it did not fit my 2020. Left (drivers) side cover fit fine, but the right (passenger) cover would not fit, thinking Ford may have changed something on the intake manifold for 2020. (Ford performance site does say 2018 and 2019 only.) Since I already had the oem cover off, I just left it off, I think it looks better.

You need to hone your fabrication skills. I Installed the Bullitt covers on my 2020 with nothing other than a few nuts to raise the attachment point of the cover on the passenger side. Took literally 10 seconds.

My fabrication skills are fine. I looked at adding spacers, but felt the studs weren’t long enough to get full threads on the nut without deforming the plastic some. (Attached a picture to show just how short the studs are.) Even thought about replacing with longer studs, but didn’t want to try and remove the studs and end up breaking something. Biggest thing was for what I paid for them, I shouldn’t have to fabricate anything, figure I will just return them and find better things to spend that money on.
