What To Do With The 2018 GT Engine Cover?

I have a set of steeda hood struts.. but for some reason something holding me back from putting them on

Thank man I appreciate it ..so I'm gonna try to fit a 2014 engine cover and coil covers .. hopefully don't have to carve them up too bad.

Elvis66 has done this and removed the two mounts, I think he is correct that they are not needed but for now I left the mounts on

. They will probably be cut off later but they are sort of unobtrusive and almost make the cover look like a stingray (blasphemy ?).
