I went to the Dealer Saturday and put in an order
have you actually succeeded in using the voice-NAV? I have it in the F150 and it's beyond useless. Google Maps via Android Auto is flawless.

Mine always worked fine in my Mustang. Took a few steps to get it set, but worked great. I don’t like using CarPlay personally... it’s annoying that I can’t keep my maps up on the screen while using any other app (like to play music)... it’s particularly annoying on long drives when I want to listen to a podcast on YouTube

Honestly, I think the biggest issue here is just the fact that the Recaros aren’t the base seats. This is being touted as the “most track capable 5.0 Mustang ever”, there’s no reason the Recaros shouldn’t have been standard
Maybe they will be included with the handling package? Possibly making for a good upgrade option.#hopeful :)

Considering that the PP1 is up to a whopping $5,195 on a 2020 GT, I'd be surprised if the HP option cost is just a mere drop in the bucket.

Holy shit, that was a $2,495 option on my '15. That's a ridiculous increase, to put it politely.
As someone stated there is more included to bring a regular GT to a PP1. The handling package on a Shelby is only what $1500. Though that doesn't include wheels and tires.

So I called the dealer I bought my GT from just to get pricing. Optioned it out the way I want it...I think anyways lol. Not sure the options were totally clear. Anyways he said he was going to place the order even after I told him I'm not sure I want to do it or not. He said he'd attach my name to it and it's mine if I want it. If not, they'll put it on the lot. Price came up to I believe $56,805. It's on my notepad at work but I think that's right. Who knows, guess we will see what happens.

To me it doesn't make any sense to buy an A10 Mach 1 when the same car is already sitting on the lot sans some stickers. And less 10 grand.

The PP Models don't have the oil, transmission, and differential coolers as does the Mach 1. Price difference as such.

Some truth to this. I'm just thinking back to my Bullitt versus my 2018 with the 10-speed automatic. Even though the 2018 with the 10 speed is supposed to be 20 horsepower less it would run circles around the Bullitt any day of the week. That's one of the reasons why if the tremec has better gear ratios it makes a serious difference besides shifting better and that could be a deal maker for a lot of people that experienced the four speed with two overdrives. The rest of the parts Ford's putting in the Mach 1 would cost a few bucks for sure added on to a PP one car.

all comes down to that handling pack price. based on what you have there my guess is it will push into around 63... crap. ugh might just buy another camaro 1le.
So after months of waiting we finally have Mach 1 pricing. Now we can spend the next 3 months speculating what the handling package will be. By the way many of us tagged a fully loaded car at over $60k so no great surprise there.

You have to figure there is going to be some nice extras, with Ford it's not gonna come cheap 3+ sounds about right.

You can buy the FP diff cooler for $1600, er 2500 and install it yourself. The A10 cars already have a trans cooler and have for years. All PP1 cars have had an oil cooler. If you wanted more you simply install a Mishimoto for $600.

I think there's a smallish-but-growing group of people who want to run their automatic-equipped cars out on road courses. Though it's hard to imagine it's a big enough group to be catering to just yet.

The A10 cooling in the Mach 1 is stated at 75% more cooling. Unless that's going to be for all A10's going forward. If you're a drag racer a regular A10 is fine. If the Mach 1 really has 75% better cooling on the A10 it might make for an interesting road race option.

Believe me, I thought about that and weighed out the reasons why I’d spend more on the Mach over pp gt.
-Limited edition
-unique front and rear ends , not a fan of 18-20 front
-better 10-speed auto
-red calipers
-I only like factory order, not off lot

And after you put active exhaust and magnaride on a pp it’s less than $10k difference even if you get $5k off sticker
