OH I agree just yank it. but some only like to do things the "right way" so i provided the right way instructions :) But yes i know its hard and you think you will break something but really just yank the thing mine popped right off and didnt break anything. the plastic washer head thing just popps off from around the bolt.
You can't just yank it off if you have the PP1 package. The extra brace near the firewall is in the way. I would go at it from under the car or through the wheel well if I had to do it again.

wish I would have made time for mine this weekend
I wasn't sure I was going to be able to take it out, but yesterday morning was perfect. (Boost weather. :giggle:)
I love taking it out early Saturday and Sunday mornings as there are less people out on the roads.

Interesting.. my buddies is a pp1 and we just yanked it off. guess gotta find the angle :)
I pulled on that sucker hard too many times to count and it wasn't coming out. Whatever works to get that abomination off the car.

Removed the sound tube today. Much cleaner look and seemed quieter on a drive after (what I was looking for). Used a racheting 10mm wrench and patience to get the nut off from engine compartment.
Chris what length wrench were you using? I was trying a 6ish inch flex head that left my hand right in the choke point where I couldn't get a good grip

Here in Idaho, we were supposed to be in the "max daily high temperature of mid-50's for the rest of the month" mode, and instead we hit the 70's on Saturday and Sunday. So Saturday I washed the Stang and arranged a cruise for Sunday!

Here's some shots-

That's mine at the front.

Put my back seat and hardware back in today. Pulled it all to see how long it takes and weight about a month ago. With the seatbelt hardware, backs, and seat cushion were @ 36 pounds. Takes about 10 minutes once you have the tools ready and know what/where to do.

The downside was the car was much louder inside with aggressive axle back on. You could hear excessive road noise and gas sloshing around too. I think I would just toss the passenger seat @ 65 pounds if I wanted to do the diet again. Impractical yes, but you can dump an easy 100 pounds with seats pulled. ;).

Great weather so set up a last minute cruise for the Treasure Valley Mustang Ford Club yesterday here in Idaho. Mine's the first one.
**Notes- **Not my video, but permission from Sammy_samson_mustanggt on Instagram to repost it.
**Caution, there's some swear words when she realized she accidentally hit pause and missed one of the cars. lol
**Please always drive responsibly. :like:

Went apple picking and did a bit of off roading.
Missed my Mustang for nearly three weeks. Got full Xpel ppf, fusion plus ceramic coating, prime xr tint, and stripes done.

I don't think they looks nice with grabber blue. Looks like the wheels are doing their best to outshine an already very bright and shiny car. Those wheels look better with darker car colours IMO.
I appreciate all input. its a large $ I am guessing 1400-1600 bucks. so I like to hear opinions on why and why not. I am taking this into consideration. but man I think they are pretty as of right now
I like the shiny, bright wheels on (just about) any color car. The only improvement over what you are intending would be some Startling White rims.

I spent some quality time with the hare piece yesterday (October 18, 2020), covering it with orange reflective vinyl tape, and relocating it closer to the grill pony; a hair too close, maybe? I had colored the edges black, which made it a little more defined, but much of that was wasted effort and was trimmed away with the orange overlap. If you don’t inspect it too closely, it looks pretty much Okay. When I carry on with my projected Orange Reflective Accents On Magnetic Metallic theme, they won’t get as much attention.

The TRLNGWA plate is hung on with duct tape, just to show it off. It made its debut at the Terlingua Mustang's introduction in 2008:
