I'm sure it's fast too. RC cars have gotten insane in the last few years. I wish we had stuff like this when I was a kid.

1/10th seem like it would be pretty large. Like not a little model.

ETA;

You actually have to build it. Like, paint it, detail it, put it all together. From the video, it seems RC cars are a specialized, highly technical thing unto themselves. Sounds like some have extremely sophisticated suspension, with tiny little coil-overs that genuinely work, and can be adjusted.

Any idea on pricing? I would love to pick up one of these.

Try looking at traxxas R/C, they are prebuilt and ready to run. they have a S-550 mustang in the 15-17 body available in multiple colors. Just add batteries and enjoy.

You can easily upgrade with faster motors, bigger battery packs, upgraded suspension parts and so on. I have 2wd stampede monster truck that I added a bigger battery pack, bigger tires, faster motor, changed the gearing and it will easily exceed 60 mph. They also have other models like bigfoot #1, a 79 K5 blazer, a ford GT that uses the same chassis as the mustang so you can swap bodies. They even have a road going race car that will do 100+ mph out of the box and there are YouTube videos of it upgraded to hit 160 mph.

I have one that goes about 65 mph once I changed the gear and put lipo batteries in it. It’s actually too fast ! My son and I call it 5 minutes of fun because that’s about how long you can use it before you crash it.

I've crashed mine and rebuilt it so many times I got tired of spending money on it, now it just sits in the closet. Your right about the speed and being uncontrollable, once you get beyond 60 mph they are dangerous. And when you crash one at that speed, it's basically destroyed.

Haha ! Exactly. Last time we had it out was about 2 years ago and my son got it wedged under the tire of a parked car. It’s been sitting in a box under the stairs in a few pieces. Have the parts to fix it but just never got around to it.

The GT4 car seems to be out of stock everywhere I've looked so far. Not badly priced at 120-180 either.

I've noticed the same problem. Although I can get one from Amazon for $300. No thanks.
I emailed one of my local hobby shops to see when they would be available again. If ever.
