So I had my calipers recoated and for some reason the rear brakes have a burning smell and sometimes smoke under heavy braking. I’ve checked everything even bled the system twice.

Also I recently took everything apart today and found the mark from the pads were getting stuck on the brackets so I greased them. Still getting a burning smell under heavy smell. I’m out of options. Any ideas?

Sounds like you didn't use high temp paint for the calipers and its burning off.

Are the brakes staying applied in the rear? Are the brake pads able to slide smoothly since you greased them? If so, it’s possible that the rear caliper pistons are seized. With the rear wheels off the ground and the transmission in neutral both wheels should spin freely.

Did you turn back in the parking brake? You need to use a special tool to turn in the caliper piston.

It moves but it’s very hard

Yes, those rotors are as blue as your lugs, plus you can always just touch them, quickly to see how hot the rears are.

It would be best to replace the rotors after you find the source of brake binding. Overheating the rotors causes hard spots that can’t be machined out.

You’ll need to disassemble everything and inspect thoroughly.

I would make sure the caliper pins slide smoothly, the brake pads move smoothly within the bracket, check the routing of the brake lines, and lastly inspect the calipers.

If you remove the calipers and the hub can now turn freely, then it’s a caliper/hydraulic issue.

It’s unlikely to be clogged/restricted brake lines but if you open the bleeder and the brakes release, then hydraulic pressure is not returning to zero psi after braking. In this scenario it’s possible that the fault could be in the brake lines or master cylinder.

I had a similar issue when powder coating rear calipers. Most likely the piston is clogged.

did you have to replacement the caliper? Because I still have my old set
yes. I have a friend who gets a crazy discount at Napa so he got me rebuilt ones. Even those were junk over time as they seized up and I didn’t even paint them. Eventually I got new OEM ones for cheap as someone bought calipers for their car and it was the wrong ones they ordered. Came with new OEM pads too. Eventually I just hand painted the calipers. Never had problems with hand painting.

if you still have your old ones best to hand paint or spray paint in the nearest matching colour to your fronts. I believe G2 will colour match but for a higher price than they’re regular kits.

Also what you could do is reuse the sliding bracket, just lubricate the sliding pins and spay or hand paint your old caliper while it’s off the car.
