Guys,

I'm giving up on the passive methods of keeping the diff cool.
I had the exhaust wrap the 75W-140 lube
and used a blower to cool the diff between sessions.
I'm done. I don't want my track time to be limited by the diff temp and put more stress on it as the oil is breaking down from heat.
I'm going to a Setrab cooler with fan set-up build by Peter at AutoSport in CT
I will install the system my self and test at my next track event Aug 22 WGI
I'll keep you all posted on the progress.

so, temps wouldn't come/stay down? Unless the car goes into limp mode I doubt overheating really is much cause for concern aside from the oil seals getting too hot and melt/deforming to the point fluid integrity is lost. Diff fluid could be changed after each event it's cheap enough.

The best move. Nothing ruins a good track day like a repairable known issue continually happening.

I recommend the blanket heatsheild as a last resort before going to a a dedicated cooler. I've been having a lot of success with it. Check out my post on this thread.

Is there a fan on your diff cooler or it's just passive? Looks like it's passive
Just FYI, I found by accident Ford Performance part for GT350 uses nearly same cooler as the A10 tranny cooler in near same position I mounted my cooler and it is passive w/o fan

Yup used that too. And I too thought I had it licked. But last week at WGI with air temps in the 90s the rear diff temp just kept climbing with every lap.
I can so appreciate a car that can lap continually without any heat issues.
I took it for granted in some of my cars. I battled over heating issues in my Focus RS as well.

All,

I got all of my components for my diff cooler. Installation will start this week.
Cooler with fan, pump, filter, Temp switch, fitting, hoses, relay and mounting clamps

Congratulations, you are going to be able to track with peace of mind and push it for 60 minutes.

I use BG Ultra Guard 75w90 with the additive.

The 75w140 will take longer to heat up but will also take longer to cool off. For 20 minute track sessions, I think the 90 weight is better than the 140.
The titanium exhaust wrap near the diff definitely keeps heat away as well.
Just curious - why will 75W-140 take longer to heat up, and especially, why would it take longer to cool down?

The thicker oil doesn't transfer heat as quickly as thinner oil does.

cool-down is a function of the cast iron (or AL backplate) ability to shed heat - just horrible. Pulling heat out of the oil in isolation is far, far too minor to matter. 75/140's slower heat ramp is also a matter of a few minutes - not enough to matter. The reason to run 140 is that it (should) maintain film and viscosity into much higher temp ranges. You'd need a detailed tech sheet (which is typically not published) to fully validate that assertion.
