I am with alot of people here...... It is a rebadged PP2 with the Bullitt's engine, 500 brakes it looks like, and maybe a few additional coolers. Through all of that together and charge 57k for it (that is just a guess, I do not have insider info)..... Quite a bit disappointing IMO.

thats pretty much what everyone was expecting/hoping for this entire time, including the price. the only thing I really want to see that I don't see here is a NACA/NASA hood ala 71-73 mach 1s.

Hey guys, what all do you think/can be done to get a power bump on the 5.0? Isn’t it kind of maxed out already? I’m wondering how they could get more power than what the Bullitt currently has

Have they confirmed the GT350 will still exist for 2021? I could see this being a bridge between the GT and the GT500. As has been mentioned, the space between the PP2 and the GT350 is pretty thin. Maybe they drop the base GT350 and slot this in between the PP2 and the R?

x/h-pipe, intake, injector work maybe. doubt it would be factory supercharged...albeit an ecoboost 5.0......that would be pricey. I also doubt we'll see any type of hybrid boost system, but it is slightly possible. if that happens I expect the premium to be ridiculous, 10-15k+, but that would put it into GT350 price territory, and thus falling a bit short. it'll be hard line to keep it between the PP2 and GT350 in both performance and price.

You can get a gt350 in the 50’s and it is better in every conceivable way except the engine going boom on the latest model. Not sure the need for this unless they’re getting rid of the gt350. Looks to be the case.

Then it sounds like this is a parts bin GT350, hopefully at a lower price point. The Shelby badge needs to go. The stealerships just use it as an excuse to add insane markup on the cars. Even before he passed, he hadn't actually been involved in developing a Shelby badged Mustang in years. Bring back the SVT Cobra, but price it to actually sell.

this'll have a markup for the first year as well. just have to find the right dealership that'll let you order without an ADM. I have one lined up for the mach 1, and one lined up for the top end Bronco model if I decide to go that route when it comes out in 2023, I'll be getting any broncos from that last one as well, even if it is half a country away.

Fair enough, but if they keep making them, the 2022's would go down. Kind of irrelevant to me honestly, since I'm not in the market. The only Mustang I'd be truly tempted by would be an AWD V8 hybrid.

I guess it depends on what you want. I want a Mustang that can be driven hard on the road course and hold up (not get hot). If this is it, I'm very excited to see it.

Hopefully they will do a homage to that hood. It would make a big difference in desirability for me for the Mach to have that unique look.

if theres not a tremec, hard pass.
To me the MT82 is fine, but it needs cooling for track use. I would prefer the Tremec for sure. The GT350 trans is really great.
