wider front fender flares so the 305 don't look so out of place. '19+ SWING, pods for coolers in nose. What the PP2 should have been from the get-go except Ford cheaped out. Bullitt-style (well ripped off of the GT350) intake and throttle body. Zero HP change from Bullitt.

The wheels look too busy.

Fair enough, but if they keep making them, the 2022's would go down. Kind of irrelevant to me honestly, since I'm not in the market. The only Mustang I'd be truly tempted by would be an AWD V8 hybrid.
Yuck! Why would you want a big heavy understeering beast like that? And all the extra $$ for hybrid and AWD systems? No thanks.

I need mine to be a 2021, just so that my 71 and 21 are a nice even 50 years apart.

That front facia looks... Confused. Like they smashed elements from MY 10-20 into one. In the worst possible way. Hope those wheels aren't production bound.

Sweet to see some info on it finally, having an 11 I actually love the fog lights in the center grill. And the wheels remind me of the snowflake wheels from 70’s Trans Am’s. THANK YOU FORD! Hoping to see the Tremec 6 speed per the old CJ pony parts video and I’m sold :)

agreed, I am not sure about those openings, if anything they should gone striaght edged and angled, the S550 really fits the 71-73 design better than the 69-70 in those aspects.

If you look at the brakes they don’t not have aluminum hats so this will be a painted caliper normal PP brake setup. They used the swing and will most likely use the Bullitts engine with maybe a few more HP. Hopefully it has the coolers but this is truly a parts bin special. The 10 speed would be the only nice addition and provide something new.

Awesome news, I just updated my renderings how the Mach 1 should look like. Of course we don't know how the final vinyl might look like and I hope the rings are for LED lights

Looks great, has me excited. I like the openings in the upper grille, reminds me of the 12-13 Boss 302. If this has the rumored Tremec 6 speed manual and coolers from the GT350 and Ford is able to extract 500+ horsepower from the 5.0, that will make a very tempting package.

I guess it depends on what you want. I want a Mustang that can be driven hard on the road course and hold up (not get hot). If this is it, I'm very excited to see it.
I guess I see this car as something that can be built from a normal GT for thousands less and something that does not really show much effort on Ford's part.... And near 60k (if that is the price, they could surprise us still, doubt it though) for a non Shelby Mustang is ridiculous to me. If someone is going to be tracking this car as hard as you say, anyone doing that is not going to keep any car stock.... I could absolutely be wrong and this car be quite a bit better then the PP2, but there is a VERY narrow window between being better then a PP2 and less than a Shelby.

Lets all not forget, just 2-3 years ago they were planning on using the Mach 1 name for the Mach E so this car was conceived and "designed" in less than 3 years....

while your work is spot on for the pics, and quick, nice job.

I hope that isn't it.
the wheels, the grill, and the hood.
the wheels need something unique, 5-spoke type (some variant of the ole mag would be nice.)
the grille, that can be changed readily enough, as long as those holes are not required, I would likely change that to the bullitt grill (if it'll fit) with the cali spec mustang emblem.
the hood, can be changed, if someone ever makes a NACA/NASA style.

I see why folks might like that. Problem is implementation that doesn't look like it was ripped off a Dodge Charger.

the proper black out treatment, and the slight bulge with 'coyote' or '302 RAM AIR' or something like that in small letters would help. granted, if they can add the red flappers, even better!!.

However, one issue, is that the extraction vents on the 5.0 are functional, and mandatory from what I can gather. so they would have to go more like the 69 shelby gt500 hood with NACA ducts in and out for intake air and heat extraction simultaneously, which doesn't look as good, imo, on this car.
