I found this to be a very informative video with some great comparisons. SP will be posting lap times next video but this shows very well how both cars perform on the same track with the same non pro driver. I know YouTube is not hot on this forum right now lol, but you should enjoy this, especially if you plan on tracking you gt500.

I predict the GT500 will have the faster lap time in the 2nd video, just as it did in the VIR Full comparison.

When he doesn't resort to clickbait he's not too bad. Pretty good summary and matches what we've seen and heard from both cars. Would like to see lap times between the C8 and his GT350. Does anyone know if he has installed the camber plates on the 500?

That was a great video, nice compare. He has always been known for Road racing, Drag racing is not his thing. For people who has a interest in what the cars can do in the hands of people who are professionals, this is a good one to watch.

His best video in my opinion. Kid is more knowledgeable than I thought.
I do not watch a lot of his or any other videos for that matter but certainly have to agree with your comments that this is his best video to date and thought that he did a terrific job of comparing these two outstanding vehicles.

Nice job young fellow!!!

Fun video, the kid knows how to drive a road course. Wonder why he was using driving gloves in the C8 but not the GT500.

Agreed. I really thought he got down to the real performance differences, and did a great job. Sure he might be a rich kid but I judge based on content not wealth.

Corvette mandate. He also changed to a pair of jorts and some Asics.

I think this shows that while the base GT500 may be faster the C8Z51 maybe a better overall track option for the majority of "average type" guys who may want to track their cars...More advanced drivers would probably option for the faster variants, CFTP or Z06 when they're more readily available.

Sometimes "faster" is not more enjoyable as the GT350 has shown for the last 4 years.

Completely agree and he even talks about how much easier it is to drive the GT350 at the limit.

Interesting to see how they stack up.

I think it’s awesome he’s in a position to purchase $160k + of vehicles to go beat on the track.

However I can’t help but think Scotty Kilmer is this kid as a senior citizen.. hahaha. Only in the way they talk and their inflections. Everything is always elevated.

I’m guessing he drove them on different days. The footage from the Corvette drives is from the earlier video he did when he first drove the Corvette at Willow Springs. Same blue GT2 in front of him, same footage of the C7 Z06 waving him by, etc.

Considering California has ordered tracks closed, all the driving must have been done a week or so ago.
