Procharger issue?

Since when did the procharger making changes moving the maf from intercooler to charge pipe? I got my kit only mid last year. Also if I buy the charge pipe to transfer the maf sensor, how do I cover the hole in the IC since I’m moving the line. Thanks.

Just check with your tuner on what they prefer. Several of us with Lund were told not to switch MAF locations. But a number of people with Lund were told to change. Guess it depends on the setup.

I emailed Lund tune directly myself and I was told to change. The rep mentioned it’s going to be better if I add the MAF throttle body tube.

I bought mine directly from procharger and it’s not cheap. The pipe will come with a blank off plate for the intercooler. Moving the MAF was the only way to get mine running right after I turned up the boost and installed a large bov. The kits now come with it standard or at least the option to.

Thanks for that info. I thought going from 3.70 to 3.50 for the P1x ho kit was pretty normal and no hiccups. Even my old installer also mentioned the same thing and do it all the time. I’m also adding the 1050x, JMS bap, 170 tstat and the pulley above. I went ahead and purchase the parts so I can install it while waiting for Lund tune.

How big is this boost and what was the numbers?

Mine is a stage 2 and I went from 12 to 16lbs and installed a TiAl bov at the same time. It made around 900 on that set up.

Nicely done sir. I think all of these guys are asking for those changes to help guys with big numbers. Procharger told me $316 plus tax for the MAF throttle body tube, but I went and bought some tires instead. I think my setup doesn’t need this current changes because it use to work before. At least I really hope so..
