  1. ahl395's Build Log - Methanol Injected / P1X / 4500W sound system

About 45k total miles. Tuned tight with a bad tank of gas on a long, hot pull. Learned a hard lesson. Engine technically still ran but smoked bad as the ring was toast. Going with a stock gen 3 short block and will re-use my gen 2 heads.
  2. ahl395's Build Log - Methanol Injected / P1X / 4500W sound system

Definitely still following. In the process of getting a new block put in mine after my cylinder 8 died too. Love that catch can! May well be an option for mine too.
  3. Pro Charger P1SC gains on a 2020 Mustang GT on Pump gas vs E85

 Got to feel sorry for them. Would have done it sooner but I need to find a decent welder out here for the wastegate. Still haven't decided on whether to use the intercooler or the 'hot side' piping. I understand the IC to be a better location but apparently it can disrupt the MAF...
  4. Pro Charger P1SC gains on a 2020 Mustang GT on Pump gas vs E85

I'm on the 4.63" which came with the kit based on my altitude. I'm looking at stepping down 2 pulley sizes to 4.38" which should net around 2-3psi. After that i'm probably going to wastegate and pulley down for a "Torque Booster" set up.
  5. Pro Charger P1SC gains on a 2020 Mustang GT on Pump gas vs E85

Negligible difference really. All comes down to the tuner's preference. Lund likes the 1050X but others prefer the DW95s. Keeping the fuel pump duty cycle is the most important thing and both the DW85 and the 1050X will put you in a safe place with room to grow. Same stage 2 kit from Terry...
  6. Magnaflow vs Corsa Sport

I had the Magnaflow competition cat back. It was significantly louder than stock. Very deep. Great sound but tended to drone a little at 2500-3000rpm which is highway cruising speed. Can't comment on the Corsa Sport. Only hear good things but IMO the sound isn't quite as good as the Magnaflow...
  7. Rear clunk - video

Difficult to tell from the vid but it does sound similar to mine. Can't get a decent video though as we're in lock down over here.
  8. Rear clunk - video

Mine does something similar. Had it since I dropped the cradle and swapped in BMR's poly diff bushing kit. Had it so long now i'm used to it but it still annoys me from time to time. Everything seems to check out and it has had no effect on the actual driving of the car apart from the noise...
  9. Procharger issue?

Just check with your tuner on what they prefer. Several of us with Lund were told not to switch MAF locations. But a number of people with Lund were told to change. Guess it depends on the setup.
  10. Procharged gen3- what driver side catch can set up?

Agreed. I had the UPR Procharger specific can and still got blow by so gave up and vented using valve cover filters. Bit of mess on the valve covers so picked up a PSIProformance vented can which works really well.
  11. P0018 Code

Are you tuned by Lund by any chance? Spoken to your tuner about this? I had something similar a few years ago. It was about 2 months after I installed a new clutch and flywheel. All of a sudden started getting P0018 codes despite everything else checking out and doing multiple crank relearns...
  12. How to reduce too high Cylinder Head Temperature on race track?

I get the feeling you might be leaving something on the table by not having a tune optimised for your thermostat but more importantly the prolonged run time under heavy load.
  13. Low compression

Got exactly the same problem. P1SC Procharger stage 2. Noticed oil coming out the vented catch can so did the compression test. Still holds boost (7.5psi) and drives like stock with almost no signs of issue, just down on power a little. C1: 225psi, C2: 228psi, C3: 226psi, C4: 230psi, C5: 235psi...
  14. So how many of us none seniors own S550's

    36. Moved from a 2007 GT to a 2015 GT. Wanted a Mustang when I was a kid. Bought one soon as I could afford one. When that was totaled by a guy running a stop sign I couldn't move to anything other than another Mustang.
  15. Procharger Outlet Tube

Awesome thread. Thanks for tackling this and taking the time to write up. Same as you, it's the small things that really bug me despite my kit working absolutely fine.
  16. 2020 Shelby GT500 eSourceBook

Yes. There’s one for every Ford vehicle produced in North America, every model year.
  17. Solarflare’s *better late than never* build thread

Thanks man. Appreciate the info. Will do.
  18. Solarflare’s *better late than never* build thread

Great progress and awesome car man. No E85 near me but looking to go a similar route to you with 100 oct (93+Boostane). Currently running the P1SC stage 2, 4.63 pulley, MAK cat deletes, MAK intake, ported 2018 mani and full 3" exhaust. Followed your advice on the Gates green belt but still...
  19. Engine fastener hardware

No problem mate. Got a part number but i'm not 100% sure it's correct -N605904-S May want to check with Benny @LevittownFordParts or Mike @fordsvtparts Alternatively i know ARP make a set of bolts as MMR includes them in their high flow pick-up tube kit but i coudn't find them on the ARP site...
  20. Procharger Stage 2 issue......found..maybe

Did you get a new one from Procharger? I've seen ARP bolts but they're stock length and not 120mm like the stage 2 bolt supplied with the kit.
