Hey, I am having a minor problem trying to get my procharger kit tuned. It was pulling nicely to redline, or at least I thought it was, but when you look at the logs, you can see the engine load start going down a bit after ~5.5k. The load percentage will go from 1.533 at 5.5k down to 1.427 by the time it gets to ~7k. Shouldn't this number only go up till redline?

I definitely have the new rubber elbow, but I still have the race valve up against it probably too much. Here are the pictures of the race valve setup. http://imgur.com/a/PAo0x
Do you guys think this could be the culprit? If it's not anyone have any other ideas?

I have the log where you can see this if anyone is interested.

Thanks

If your load is dropping, how is the MAF signal, and Boost?
Are they all dropping?

Its time consuming, however you can get that valve tucked in there more.
And that inlet elbow trimmed just a bit more, to move it back to the blower.

Looking at the log file, the MAF_in_lbm_per_min continues to go up after the load start slowly going down. I am not sure of the boost levels, I will need to get a mechanical gauge to see a good reading for that. I'm assuming the digital one that comes with the car is probably inaccurate.

Wouldn't the MAF_in_lbm_per_min going up mean that it is getting good air flow still?

Does the car exhibit an actual driving issue or is this something you simply noticed on your datalog and are curious about?

Yes, however

Keep in mind peak load will be at peak TQ.
So then it will fall after that which is normal.

As long as boost is going up, Maf is going up, then your load going down is 100% normal. :)

Hate seeing threads that say "ProCharger tuning issue" which isn't an issue at all. :(

Don't look at the maf lb per min SAE pid, it maxes out at 86lb/min. Use MAF Period.

It doesn't seem to be showing any driving issues actually, just something I noticed.

That actually makes a lot of sense. Sorry for the title, I guess it was a bad title, this could happen with any forced induction. I would change it if it would let me.

On a good note, I am loving everything about the kit! Everything in it seems to be high quality, and well made. Did the install in one day, and had the car up and running the same day. Only "hard" part of the install is the whole section with the race valve and getting it to fit properly.

Seriously though awesome kit, I am now addicted to this thing
