I got a set of BMR SP080 springs mounted on Steeda Pro-Action fixed dampers. Ended up selling the car before they got installed. They are used (SUPER low miles). Got them off @80FoxCoupe. Looking for $400 for the complete setup. Don't really want to ship as they are heavy, but willing to meet...
@80FoxCoupe thanks for the tag. I got my 15 with 62k on it in 18. It now has 126k and runs like a champ. Aside from the seat bottom bolster being cracked and the damn air conditioning being out, I have zero issues or complaints. Its been on E for the past 15k miles with a PBD tune. Trans is...
Man, I'm in drag strip heaven here in SW Ohio. I've got Edgewater (Cleves OH) Kil-kare (Xenia, OH) Dragway 42 (West Salem, OH) National Trail (Hebron, OH) Thorne Hill (Northern KY) Clay City (Kentucky) Lucas Dragway (Indy, IN). The first 3 are within 1 hour of me. The rest are no more than 2 hours
My 15 GT seat bottom is starting to crack really badly. Im looking for a seat bottom or maybe a complete with the bags blown. Anyone have one or know someone who does? TIA
I only have experience with PBD. I had great communication with the team. Car is pretty basic with 18+ manifold LU47s and 18+ air intake. A base file was sent. Logged and sent back for review. I think Trevor made a few tweaks and that was it. Car pulls smooth all the way to 7800. Shifts are...
From a reliability standpoint, I guess it might not be the greatest idea. But from a power/e.t standpoint, its about being in the peak power longer. You rev PAST the peak so that the shift recovery puts you back into the "sweet spot". That said, if you don't have a ported 18+ or CJ, going past...
Anything with a MAF housing sized differently than stock will need a tune. And quite honestly, if you don't have a 18+ manifold and the rpm turned up, the stock 15-17 with a quality drop in filter will do.
Update on LMR wheels. Spoke with LMR today and their wheel manufacturer in China had shut down due to covid.... They have made the decision to remain closed indefinitely. LMR has retrieved their molds and will be having them made by another vendor. They anticipate having them back in stock by...
A CAI will do absolutely nothing for you besides make your wallet lighter, you engine bay "racecar" and give you some woosh sounds. If you want more grunt down low, a gear swap and E85 tune is what you will need.
Based on what you've said, I would recommend a P1SC stage 2 kit. User friendly, easy install. Smaller head unit will give you a good punch down low and scream up top. You could run a 4.5 pulley and make good power on pump 93. If you decide to party, drop to 4.0 add some E85 and you've got a...
Make the intermediate pipe the same size as the maf housing and reduce at the TB. The less restriction before the TB the better. Think about drinking from a stir stick vs a giant straw. Also you don't want anything disrupting the air flow that close to the MAF as it will likely phuk up the MAF...
2M Headers (Mixed reviews, but a great product) PBD tune w/nGauge (E85), ported manifold, filter of your choice, and rear tires (You'll need them)
edit: Didn't see OP has 18+...
Oh, and for anyone wondering, that coupe is THE NASTIEST thing I've ever had the chance to ride in. Its is total sensory overload. Giant solid roller cam shakes your brain, you're sitting in a car with a wood grain dash yet the electronics look like Walt stole them from the space shuttle. Its...
Well, with that being said... Absolutely do the entire 18+ induction system. Grab some lu47s and get a proper tune for E85. I can't say enough about Palm Beach Dyno, they are a great bunch. Tune is spot on and the trans tuning is night and day different. Enjoy the newfound rpms and HP. Sadly...
