What is Ford thinking ?

Did a pre delivery inspection on a 2020 cs yesterday , and Ford has gone to this for there communication antenna. What the hell are they thinking !

Checkout this thread, starting at post 52. The 2021 mule was a Euro model so this could be a simple part mixup. Or maybe an in-line production change for the upcoming Sync 4. Just for the heck of it can you check the Sync version and build numbers?

The kid on the speed phenom went to a couple dealers around LA looking for GT 500's at or near sticker and he found a 500 with a shark fin antenna instead of the flat waterdrop style on the 15-20's

I am not sure if I like it, BUT IS WAY BETTER THAN THAT WHIP ANTENNA AT THE REAR RIGHT QUARTER PANEL.

Is it safe to assume the 18-20 Models will be able to get Sync 4 once its available for the 2021 mustangs?

Is that on all new Mustangs? I know the early cars had lots of problems with satellite reception. My 16 is WAY more sensetive to signal loss than any other Ford with satellite that I have had (4 others). My be a new design to improve reception.
