All Ford needs to do is offer the same options on the V-6 as they do on the 4 banger and V-8. Plus give the V-6 a HP/TQ bump. Problem solved.

Honestly the turbo Camaro will probably be quicker than the ecoboost 4 in short order. It's guaranteed to be ldk/lnf based and those can run e85 no issues on stock fueling and get near 400 at the tires pretty easily on stock turbo iirc. Plus tuning has been around for a while and they have em pretty well figured out. Plus it's not a headifold...
MAP is running ethanol blends on the EB's stock fuel system right now. Pushing 350-360RWHP right now and they aren't even done with it yet.

Then there's the guy who used race fuel and a bigger turbo and got an EB to run 11.1 in the 1/4.

No, sorry, the GM 2.0 isn't likely to keep up.

A lnf doesn't have to blend it can run straight e85. They also have the di system figured out and have upgraded fuel pump lobes and fuels systems.

They have been making almost 400 whp on stock turbos and 500+ whp on upgraded turbos since 09. They probably won't just keep up they'll pull ahead.

Then....

I was pretty set on getting a 2016 Mustang ecoboost but the new Camaro really has me doubting. I am not really fan of the tail lights design but the 335 naturally aspirated v6 and premium interior available for V6 is enough for me to consider it. I don't know if anyone at Ford will read this but to counter the Camaro, they should offer a premium NA v6 with around 350 hp and aluminium door to save weight and offer the ecoboost for Overseas or as a base model.
Then go buy your Camaro, we all hear wish you the best.... :clap2:

EB is making 500+ whp on upgraded turbos all day long. I think Watson has their EB at 600? I'll have to look that up later. The stock turbo is a little more bizarre. Its torque curve is far to the left. It's more torque heavy. With tune and intake only, I'm north of 400RWTQ. Still 400RWHP seems possible with it anyhow. Follow MAP's thread if you're interested in their ethanol experimentation and tuning. They have NOT replaced anything on the stock fuel system on their e30 tune that's doing the 360RWHP, I know that. But they were talking about some minor mods for running e85. They also have a turbo upgrade kit for pretty cheap that's pushing a lot more horsepower.

Livernois is also a good bet for seeing what the motor can do. They have their EB running in the 11s as well. Unleashed is running Meth Injection, which also seems to be effective. There are a few different approaches to pushing the stock turbo.

I don't know if you're just a GM fanboy, or what your point is here, but the 2.0 GM motor has a lot more ground to cover than the 2.3 EB mill. And since it's positioned under the V6, I'm not sure the modders are going to take to it in large numbers -- though that remains to be seen.

I'm not even convinced this is a real Mustang forum anymore.

People screaming about faux stitching, plastidipping brake calipers on the car, asking aftermarket companies for chrome parts, not knowing how a PCV system works, asking if tunes void warranties, asking if no tune CAIs make any HP, not even knowing the history of our car and the Pony car segement, WTF happened to the Mustang community!?! What has Ford done to us, bringing all of you people into the Mustang community....

Yea maybe the new 16' Camaro V6 will be a nice engine but the rear end of that car is fugly. Even the front end doesn't do much for me. I've had 2 5th gen Camaro's in the past and i was hoping the new Camaro would of been better looking than what they did. The Mustang's styling is head and shoulders better than the Camaro.
the profile view is terrible too - it looks bloated

I think the Camaro looks like a55 does this void my warranty? The tail lights on the Camaro look like they were stolen off a 90's honda. The rest of the car looks just like the 2015. I still doubt I will know a 2016 from a 2015 if I see one on the road. The interior looks like it is from one of those $20 driving games you see in walmart. The stereo looks like it was just stuck in there doesn't even fit the rest of the car. Ford really nailed it with the 2015 mustang though if you ask me. Still looks like a Mustang but everyone knows I have the new one when they see my 2015. Interior is a huge step up and the car drives awesome. Plus it isn't a Chevy!!!
