Spare Tire Kit

New to the forum and new to Mustangs. Wanted to get a spare tire kit to replace the sealant kit supplied and found it seems that spare tire kit is back ordered. The one Ford agency I called said it's been on back order for at least two months. Some other onlne searches revealed same issue with similar vendors.

Probably not news to many members here, but thought I'd pass along!

Thanks for reply, but need kit for Ecoboost and is much less $. And should add do not have performance package with Brembo.

I have had a flat on two different occasions. I got a ride home and then went back with the floor jack and a full size tire and wheel. That is just the way it works.

Look on eBay for the S550 Ford spare tire kit.

Prices on there range anywhere from $235-$350 (and some with free shipping) depending on who’s selling it.

So how does this work for you if you're 200+ miles from home?
I have the Auto Auth spare and will use it on front or rear till I can get to a tire shop.

I do as well... Heck, tried to sell it on the forums but no takers. People act like it is "used" and want to pay full price for some reason (well, and I don't want to ship so I limited my buyers).

Thanks for all replies.....just purchased off Amazon for $247 including shipping. All vendors I had contacted were out of stock. There are 6 or 7 kits still available on Amazon.
