have you seen the new Tesla pickup.. I would not even want to be buried in it.

BTW in my time some Buicks were really hot.. i.e. the grand national

I just saw Motor week showing off the new 2020 Shelby GT 500.. OMG awesome.. but about $80k
To much for my blood.
Oh yeah! Now that’s a Buick. $30k in 1987. What would that be today?

I used to have one of these. You changed time zones as you walked from the front to the back.

Never too old for a manual gear box and decent HP.
I'm 57 and my first Ford is my 18 GT PP1. Absolutely love this thing ! I've always been a GM guy and still own 2 old muscle cars. They have their place but will never compete with the new Stangs. We could only dream of our old cars feeling like these S550's.
My plans are a Whipple or Roush in 2020.

ok guys, some Buicks were really hot.. Today not so much.. Those cars were fast considering they had NO tech stuff, just RAW power and thin tires. And of course a 4spd. But the thrill of driving was there. The joy factor of those cars compare favorably with todays mustang and others unnamed manufacturers. All I have to add is I lived the pony wars of the 60s and LOVED it. I am now LIVING the pony wars of the 201?- now.. it too is awesome. The cars as SO different and yet very similar. Bottom line all were and are a BLAST to drive.

I learned to drive on a 1966 S Package Baracuda. 273 Cu" V8/276 Crank HP. 3 speed auto and would chirp tires normal throttle each shift. Several cars later and my beast was a 72 Charger with 1969 340. It produced just over 400HP. Very fast car and won a lot of street light weekend races with-it. It was a bear to drive and you had to stay focused all the time. Todays cars almost drive themselves in comparison

Old Pontiac engines never die. What a shame what happened to Pontiac.
