^^^ If something is being withheld based on something expected by and benifiting the withholder in return, then what is it? Whatever people want to call it, it shouldn't be happening.

It really doesn't matter what the timing of the "I'll give you this if you give me that" is if there's a clear picture of what is being withheld or given for what. Now if Trump was smart he would have given the planned military aid with "no strings attached", then much later ask his Ukrainian buddy to do him a "favor" with no promise of something in return or withheld. But that might even still violate some kind of laws on the books about foreign countries involving themselves (or asking them to involve themselves) in our election process.

Someone brought up "Commies", but not that long ago if someone was asking foreign countries that we were basically enemies with to get involved in our government process they would be considered a "Commie".

This country needs to run itself without political influence from foreign governments, regardless if it's blantent in our face or behind hidden cloaks.

Look at this without a political party hat on. Is it really right to be asking and letting foreign governments get involved to influence what goes on with the government in this country?
