Since you were out there can you state clearly what the base wheel and tire size will be?

I have seen all kinds of conflicting information.

Does the base get 20x11 up front and 29x11.5 in the rear with the same 305 up front and 315 in the rear?

Or does it get a smaller wheel / tire than CFTP with 20x10.5 in front and 20x11 in rear with 295 and 305?

I think it’s the former but reading all that’s come out today has lead to more confusion.

Jaime: FWIW, I watched the American Muscle "Hot Lap" clip last night and he specifically indicated that the Base cars get a square 20x11 set up with the 4S rubber. Apparently, only the CFTP rear wheels are 20x11.5. No doubt Terrance can hook you up with the wider rears if you so choose.

That wasn't my question buddy, but I really did want to know this as well, so thanks!

So much for my reading ability, Jaime but glad I was helpful. <still chuckling> DUH!

Edit: I figured it out, amigo...it was the PB car in SurferGeek's avatar and my feeble brain thought it was yours. :-)

I talked to Terrance the other night and he said they actually can do 11.5 on all 4 corners. I’m getting that with sport 2 cup tires for summer and track will keep stock for winter. I will have to think about a set for the strip but that might just be over the top to have 3 sets of tires and wheels but then again I have not been known for being that conservative or smart on this type of stuff

I have wheels on order from Siganture. Going 11.5” on all 4 corners. But just trying to determine what’s really going to be on the car and also thinking about another set.

Awesome I'm in same boat, I have SV703 coming and trying to decide if I need another set if I did I would probably actually go with the SV901s

Good info ....

So sounds like Base has 305 front and 315 rear but with 11" wheels front and rear and CFTP has the same 305 front and 315 rear but on a staggered 11" front and 11.5" rear.

Putting 315s on all 4 corners with 11.5" rims sounds like the ticket and still significant savings in weight over the base wheels with many of Signature's patterns.

I mean, technically our 19” Signature Wheel Track Series SV502 clear the GT500 front brakes

Hmm. About as much as the OEM CFTP wheels do......

How about the caliper clearance with the 20" Signatures for the 500?

All the data I have, plus the wheels on display a the event show a 20x11 square. I cant foresee them putting the 315 on the rear of the 20x11. Historically Ford stays with the optimal size tire for the wheel, and Michelin has not yet released its 315/30/20 Pilot 4S tire.

I did not get to slap one on, but it should be double OEM at minimum.

Almost positive this is a PS4S 315/30/20. It has the little checkered flag at the end of the tire size. I think the Cup 2 does not.

I dig the look of the OEM wheel. The larger picture for me (and the company) is will this design also be attractive for BMW, Porsche, Chevy, and other European markets we build for. Or will there be enough of a desire from the Mustang market alone to justify the R&D costs for the wheel design. Currently I can’t answer those question, but you guys make a persuasive case. Just need more guys on board with that idea.

Thankfully the Mustang enthusiasts like @Tomster give us a lot of credibility in the community. Not to mention Ford has become one of our strongest markets due to everyone’s trust and faith in us to deliver. When the whole team is together at SEMA I will see what I can push for
If it matters at all I've also got an allocation for the new Shelby and I'll be 100% purchasing a CFTP replica wheel with a more aggressive offset. So, there are definitely interested customers.

@50 Deep Do you have a price set for the new Royal Series? 20x11 and 20x11.5. What color do you prefer on Ford Performance Blue? Brushed Bronze Tint or Triple Black Tint? Do you have Samples of the colors I could order?

This is awesome news! I need the part number off that 315 rear tire. Going to make a lot of folks happy with that 315 4S. I wonder if Michelin hasn't released it to the public due to the initial demand for Ford...
